"That’s good!" Leng Zirui brushed aside a few stray strands of her hair by her ear, "Go ahead, tell my brother to co in!"
"He went to the police station," Xu Xia said.
Leng Zirui chuckled softly, "He’s already back, I just saw him."
Years of professional instinct made him extrely alert. While Xu Xia hadn’t noticed, he had already seen Leng Zimo co in and then step back out.

Realizing the truth, Xu Xia’s face flushed even redder, "Then why...why didn’t you stop?"

Leng Zirui laughed softly, affectionately patting her puffed-up little face, "Fine, I’ll take the initiative. My wife’s so tempting, I couldn’t resist, okay?!"
Hearing him say that, her face turned even redder and hotter, "Nonsense."
"Aren’t you irresistible?" Leng Zirui countered.
"Of course I am, but I’m not your wife!" Xu Xia retorted.
Seeing her shy and angry expression, Leng Zirui just chuckled softly, leaned over again, and kissed the tip of her lips, "Then what do you like to call you? Darling? Little baby? Or Little Sweetheart? Or... darling little baby sweetheart Xia Xia!"
"So cheesy!" Xu Xia stood up, "I’m going to get Leng Zimo in here!"
"From now on, call him brother when you’re with !" Leng Zirui reminded her as she walked away.
Xu Xia pretended not to hear and opened the door to the ward, seeing Leng Zimo and Ah Jiu standing outside.
Realizing they all knew what she and Leng Zirui had just done in the room, she muttered a couple of curses at Leng Zirui under her breath before looking at Leng Zimo and saying, "He asked you to go in!"
"Okay!" Leng Zimo stood up, walking back into the ward with her, stopping by the bed when he saw that Leng Zirui was awake, "I just got back from the police station. The situation has been mostly dealt with. You’ll need to rest here for the next few days, and Seo Shaochuan and the others will be over tomorrow."
"How are Lan Zi and the others? Do you know?!" Xu Xia imdiately asked with concern.
"Lan Zi suffered so minor injuries and was quickly rushed to the hospital for treatnt. She’s recovering in another hospital with special care," Leng Zimo said.
"And Ah Sen and the others?" Xu Xia softly inquired.
"Ah Sen and the driver died on the spot, but the security guards were wearing bulletproof vests, so their lives are not in danger. They’re also in the hospital now," Leng Zimo reassured her, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I’ll arrange for a new assistant for you tomorrow, and we can also consider canceling the concert if necessary."
Xu Xia looked at Leng Zirui questioning, "Can...can I not cancel the concert?!"
The concert was incredibly important for her and her team. She had worked so hard for it, and all the tickets had already sold out. Many fans were traveling from afar to see her perform, and she didn’t want to let everyone down.
Seeing the hopeful look in her eyes, Leng Zirui hesitated for a mont, "Can your body handle it?!"
Xu Xia bead, "No problem. I’m fine, just a few minor injuries that don’t matter."
Seeing her bright smile, Leng Zirui’s lips turned up slightly, "Alright, then proceed as planned!"
