"Wedding, wedding, wedding!" Everyone laughed and shouted together.
"Don’t make a fuss!" Xu Xia’s face felt warm, yet she gracefully clinked her glass with Leng Zirui’s, "Thank you, my savior."
With that, she raised her hand to bring the glass to her lips and drank it all in one go, while her other hand held onto Leng Zirui’s wrist.
Leng Zirui lifted his hand to drink but was unable to raise it because she was holding his wrist.
"You’re injured, you can’t drink!" Xu Xia placed the empty glass aside, raised her hand to take the champagne glass from him, tilted her head back, and drank all his champagne. She then showed the bottom of the glass to everyone, who applauded, and Xu Xia raised the glass above her head, "Lan Zi, refill!"
"No, you can’t drink anymore." Leng Zirui raised his hand to snatch the glass from her.
"It’s fine, this champagne won’t make you drunk..." Xu Xia mumbled.
"How many?" Leng Zirui stretched a finger towards her.
Xu Xia looked at his palm, "Two!"
"Xu Xia, you’re really out of it, getting tipsy after two sips of champagne. General, she’s drunk because she drank on your behalf. You take care of her, we’re going to keep having fun!" Lan Zi smiled teasingly, "But rember to leave your credit card when you leave, everyone, isn’t that right?!"
"Right!" Everyone laughed in agreent.
"Don’t worry, tonight eat and drink as much as you like; it’s all on !" Leng Zirui held Xu Xia, who was "tipsy", by the waist, "I’ll take her back to the hotel first, you guys have fun."
Lan Zi and the others together saw them out of the bar, watched the two get into the car, and then returned to the bar to continue having fun. Seo Shaochuan drove the two to the hotel entrance.
All the way, Xu Xia just buried her face in Leng Zirui’s embrace, without saying a word.
A mont later, the car arrived at the hotel entrance.
Seo Shaochuan opened the car door, and Leng Zirui handed his wallet to Seo Shaochuan before carrying Xu Xia out of the car.
"I’ll take her up, you go straight back to the bar, settle the bill when they’re done playing!"
"Alright!" Seo Shaochuan took the wallet, glanced at Xu Xia leaning against his chest, and chuckled teasingly, "Boss, be careful not to tear your wound!"
Leng Zirui lifted his foot and kicked the car door closed, "Get lost!"
"I’m going right away!" Seo Shaochuan waved at him and drove away from the hotel.
Leng Zirui carried Xu Xia into the elevator, which was empty. As soon as they entered, Leng Zirui smiled and said, "Alright, stop pretending, are you waiting for to kiss you awake?!"
Three glasses of champagne, such small glasses, all together were just a few sips. Even soone who can’t drink would not get drunk so quickly.
This girl was clearly pretending to be drunk.
