Ah Jiu and Ah Sang were startled to see Leng Zimo suddenly co back to life.
After a mont, they realized that Leng Zimo wasn’t really injured and guessed that this might be the work of the "inside help" he ntioned before. The two quickly called their subordinates to carry the "injured" Leng Zimo out of the hotel room.
The hotel manager and security were alerted and soon, Leng Zimo was carried out of the hotel by Ah Jiu and his team and sent to the hospital. A while later, the police also arrived.
The car sped all the way to the hospital, and Leng Zimo was imdiately sent into the ergency room.
Just as a doctor on duty ca in to examine the "unconscious" Leng Zimo, Ah Jiu quietly drew a gun and aid it at the back of the doctor’s head, speaking in English, "Tell your people to leave."
The doctor, under duress, had no choice but to wave the nurses away, "You all step out first."
The nurses, confused, still left the ergency room.
Ah Sang closed the door tightly.
Lying on the ergency bed, the "unconscious" Leng Zimo had already opened his eyes.
Seeing Leng Zimo, who had "been shot several tis," sit up, the ergency doctor was dumbfounded.
"Sir?!"
"Tell everyone I’m dead."
Leng Zimo said to him in Italian.
The doctor frowned, sowhat puzzled.
Leng Zimo calmly continued, "Do as I say, otherwise, I will kill you and your family. Judging by your age, you must be a father. I am a father too. I don’t wish to harm you or your family, so please don’t force ."
His tone was calm, yet there was an undeniable authority in it. Feeling the increased pressure of the gun on his head, the doctor reluctantly agreed.
"Alright."
Leng Zimo gave Ah Sang a slight nod and closed his eyes again.
Ah Jiu put away the gun, and Ah Sang walked over to open the ward door. The doctor glanced at Leng Zimo, then pulled a sheet over his head and face, looked at Ah Jiu and Ah Sang beside him, and then turned to the nurses entering the room.
"Breathing and heartbeat have stopped, there’s no need for further resuscitation, he’s already dead!"
The nurses, accustod to death, didn’t find it strange. They docunted Leng Zimo’s status briefly before pushing his "body" to the morgue.
"Thank you..." Ah Jiu extended his hand to shake the doctor’s, glancing at his na tag, "Dr. Smith, send my regards to your wife and kids."
Ah Jiu emphasized the last na heavily.
The doctor understood it as a veiled threat; knowing his na ant they could trace his family, and if he dared to leak this matter, the consequences would be disastrous.
"You’re welco." The doctor nodded, indicating he understood and wouldn’t do anything he shouldn’t.
Ah Jiu signaled for one of his n to stay behind and keep an eye on the doctor, then turned to follow the nurses, Ah Sang, and the others conveying Leng Zimo to the morgue.
Upon arriving at the morgue, after the nurses and staff completed the registration, Leng Zimo was temporarily placed in the holding area. Once the nurses left, Ah Jiu and Ah Sang imdiately approached, knocked out the staff mber, and placed a male corpse lying nearby onto the bed labeled with Leng Zimo’s na. The two then left the hospital through the back door with Leng Zimo.
Once out of the hospital, Leng Zimo imdiately removed his blood-stained suit jacket.
