Leng Zimo nodded, his voice low as he reminded her, "This matter must remain absolutely confidential!"
If the dia were to find out about this, they would swarm like flies and not let go, and for Luo Xiaoqian, it would be an absolute disaster.
"Don’t worry!" Huangfu Ao promised earnestly, and then took out his phone to order his subordinates to bring clothes over.
Leng Zimo walked back into the room, where Luo Xiaoqian lifted her face from the bowl and looked at him, revealing a very pale smile.
Seeing her long-missed smile, the tension in his heart eased slightly.
"Do you want any more?"
Luo Xiaoqian shook her head.
He took the bowl from her hands and set it aside, "We’ll go ho in a bit, why don’t you rest on the bed for a while?"

Noticing the uncertainty in her eyes, Leng Zimo smiled reassuringly at her, carried her to the inner room, and placed her on the hospital bed. He stretched out his left hand to cup her slightly cool palm in his.
"Relax, I’ll be here the whole ti!"
Clinging tightly to his fingers, Luo Xiaoqian curled up in the blanket and slowly closed her eyes.
Sitting down in the chair beside the bed and feeling the dependent strength in her fingers, Leng Zimo silently tightened his grip, holding both of her small hands together in his palm.
Soon, a soldier brought a set of won’s military clothes.
Luo Xiaoqian did not sleep soundly and was easily awakened by the slightest noise.
Leng Zimo gently comforted her, and it took a long ti to help her change out of the tattered gown she was wearing.

As Leng Zimo, holding the gown, walked toward the bathroom, Luo Xiaoqian spoke up nervously.
"Why?"
Leng Zimo stopped in his tracks.
He indeed wanted to dispose of the dress, naturally to prevent her from becoming emotionally stirred by seeing it and rembering last night’s events.
"You gave it to !"
Luo Xiaoqian said softly, hugging the blanket.
Leng Zimo looked at her pale face, then at the mud-soaked, bloodstained, and torn gown in his hands. He carefully folded the gown and put it into a paper bag. Turning around, he took the clothes that Huangfu Ao’s subordinates had brought and reached out to her.
"No!" Luo Xiaoqian clutched the blanket tightly, "I’ll do it myself!"
He didn’t force her but placed the clothes within her reach.
"Your foot is injured, so be careful!" he reminded her gently, and then he went to the living room and closed the room door behind him, "I’ll be just outside!"
As Leng Zimo waited by the door for her to dress, he made a few calls on his phone.
One was to arrange his work, and another to inform Shen Yizhou to prepare a hospital room for Luo Xiaoqian.
Her foot had been injured the day before, and she was caught in the rain, now with a fever, she needed 24-hour care. After an event like yesterday’s, even if it was towards him, she was sowhat averse, so it was clearly not wise to leave her at ho for care.

Noticing the bandage on his arm, Luo Xiaoqian reached out to hold his arm, "Did I cause your arm injury?"
