After hanging up the hat, Leng Zimo casually pulled out his phone and deftly found Luo Xiaoqian’s number, pressing the call button.

The recording studio.
Sitting at the piano, Luo Xiaoqian was still playing "White Moonlight," which had been arranged by Leng Zimo.
When she reached the solo part in the middle, a flash of blade light suddenly crossed her vision.
"I’m sorry!"
Then, Leng Zimo’s voice sounded in her ears.
She instantly lost focus, and her fingers slipped, producing a jarring note.
"Stop!" Ya Nan yelled to stop, yet again.
"Xiao Qian!" He stood up from the mixing console and pushed open the soundproof door that separated the inner part of the recording studio, "Take a break for a while!"
Because Luo Xiaoqian was playing the piano herself, this recording session had to start with the piano performance part. Unlike last ti’s smooth process, this ti Luo Xiaoqian’s performance was below standard—either off-key or out of rhythm—the piece she played was simply unusable.
"I’m sorry!"
Luo Xiaoqian stood up from the piano, her face full of apologies.
The traces of Leng Zimo were too strong in this "White Moonlight"; no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t concentrate. In her mind, his figure kept swaying to and fro.
"How about we stop here for tonight, Xiao Qian? Why don’t you go back and rest, and we’ll record again tomorrow?" Yu Tong ca forward, offering her a cup of hot tea.

"There’s no need to trouble Teacher Ya Nan, I can take Xiao Qian back!" Yu Tong took her bag and helped Luo Xiaoqian out of the studio.
Downstairs, they hailed a taxi, and Yu Tong naturally reported the na of World City to the driver since Luo Xiaoqian had previously told her she lived nearby.
In the noon hour, cars were sparse, and soon the taxi stopped outside the World City residential complex.
"Do you need to walk you up?" Yu Tong opened the car door.
Naturally, Luo Xiaoqian declined, "No need, I can go back by myself!"
"Rest well, don’t rush. Adjust your state of mind, and then we’ll talk," Yu Tong said consolingly while patting her shoulder. "We’ll take it slow, don’t put too much pressure on yourself."
After thanking her, Luo Xiaoqian watched the taxi drive off, then turned and walked in the direction of World City.

Just one second after the phone call went out, Leng Zimo stretched his thumb and abruptly ended the call.
She didn’t want him, so why should he keep pestering her?!
Perhaps it was ti to let go.
Even though he thought this, the thought of truly letting go still left him unwilling.
For the first ti in so many years, he had given his heart to a woman—how could he bear to part with her?
He decided to wait until after this business trip to deal with it.
Finding a reason for himself in his mind, he strode over, pulled his suitcase out, and began to pack.

"Damn it!"
Leng Zimo cursed under his breath.
Roughly grabbing a few clothes and stuffing them into his suitcase, he irritably snapped the case shut and strode out the door.
