To facilitate filming and save ti, the production team booked a hotel close to the shooting location. Luo Xiaoqian’s room was on the second floor, facing the ocean, where she could feel the sea breeze while standing on the balcony.
As a popular tourist destination, the Maldives were never a lonely place.
On the beach, couples were scattered in twos and threes.
Watching them, Luo Xiaoqian naturally thought of Leng Zimo.
Shaking her head, she turned away from the window, tidied up her things, took a bath... hoping to distract herself from her emotions, but even after she finished everything and lay down in bed, she still couldn’t fall asleep. She took out her e-reader to continue reading a novel, but as she reached the scenes where the male and female protagonists were together, her thoughts drifted back to Leng Zimo.
Glancing at her phone beside her, she finally put down the e-reader and brought up her contact list.
But still, she lacked the courage to make the call.
She really couldn’t think of what to say to him.
In the past, every ti he went on a business trip, she would report to him three tis a day, morning, noon, and night.
Scrolling through her contact list, when she ca across Xu Xiaoyang’s number, she suddenly felt compelled and instantly hit the call button.

Although it was after nine o’clock in the evening, Lapland still basked in the bright sunlight.
In the region of Lapland within the Arctic Circle, from mid-May, they entered the season of the midnight sun, which ant the nights were still bathed in sunshine.
By the Kemijoki River, Leng Zimo stood on the grass with his hands in his coat pockets, gazing at the distant river scenery.
Not far away, the accompanying cinematographer was discussing scouting issues with Director Anderson and Xu Xiaoyang. The movie they were collaborating on with Hollywood was also based on a dostic online novel.
And coincidentally, this online novel, like the song written by Luo Xiaoqian before (see the note below), originated from the sa author. In the novel, there was a scene where the main characters watched the Northern Lights and had a barbecue together. This ti, Leng Zimo and his team had co to Northern Europe’s Pu Land for location scouting specifically for that scene.
"Personally, I think this place is perfect for the barbecue scene under the aurora. Once the polar night sets in and the Northern Lights appear, the river will also reflect them. The scene will absolutely be stunning..."
At the ntion of barbecue, Leng Zimo just raised an eyebrow.
Why, always barbecue?
Don’t these authors have any fresh ideas!
Damn it, just the thought of barbecue made him think of Luo Xiaoqian again.
It had been two days already. She must have started the MTV shoot by now. She had never been abroad before, as far as he knew, and he wondered if she was getting used to such intense work.

The two were, after all, just in a professional relationship; Luo Xiaoqian’s sudden call was quite unexpected.
"It’s nothing, just... I’m in the Maldives, and I wasn’t sure if you would be coming here, so I..." Luo Xiaoqian stamred awkwardly.
