Today’s complete pass ant that they wouldn’t have to rise early Tomorrow, which was certainly the best news they could hope for.
After helping the crew pack up the equipnt on the beach, Luo Xiaoqian passed by the director and saw him checking the footage. Out of curiosity, she leaned over to take a look and felt her face flush slightly upon seeing herself on screen.
"Director, isn’t this movent of mine kind of silly?"
Having never shot anything before and only getting a crash course from the director the night before—during which her mind was too scattered to pay close attention—Luo Xiaoqian wasn’t very confident about her performance.
"How could that be?" the director smiled at her, "Xiao Qian, this is an MV, not acting. The acting part is the job of actors. All you need is to be sincere, and it’s been a while since I’ve seen such an expression in soone’s eyes."
"You’re just comforting , aren’t you?" Luo Xiaoqian asked with a smile.
"Haha..." the director burst into laughter, "Keep this innocence of yours, and I believe you’ll go far. Plus, you’re very photogenic; maybe you could try acting in films soday."
"I couldn’t do that!" Luo Xiaoqian simply shook her head, but noticing two guys struggling with a heavy case nearby, she imdiately turned and ran over to help.
The two young n, embarrassed, said, "You don’t need to, we’ve got it!"
"I’m free anyway, might as well exercise my body," replied Luo Xiaoqian, not treating herself like a guest at all as she walked over, lifted a smaller case from their large one, and helped load the vehicle.
Because of her behavior at the eting yesterday, the production crew had been sowhat prejudiced against her, thinking the new girl was acting like a diva. After today’s interaction and seeing her modesty and hard work, everyone’s impression of her had greatly improved. Luo Xiaoqian’s relationship with the crew also beca increasingly harmonious.
When everyone returned to the hotel, Luo Xiaoqian went back to her room, too anxious to wash up, she darted to the desk to find her charging phone. She intended to call Leng Zimo to report on her work, but when she dialed, the call went straight to voicemail.
