"Thank you," she whispered her thanks, took the cup, and swallowed the fever-reducing dicine.
He took the cup away and nodded towards the handbag by the bed.
"Get dressed, eat!"
Still in a commanding tone, this man had beco accustod to giving orders.
In his world, he was the Emperor.
In the handbag, just like the last ti, everything from inside out was brand new.
She pulled clothes out of the paper bag, glanced at the man still standing by the bed, and hesitated again, "Could you... please wait outside?"
"No!" Leng Zimo refused bluntly, "You need to get used to it."
Luo Xiaoqian’s heart suddenly turned cold.
That’s right!
Who was she but a woman he kept with his money, just like a pet.
When the master says strip, you strip; when he says roll, you roll.
Luo Xiaoqian gritted her teeth, stood up from the bed, and pulled open the sash of her bathrobe.
Leng Zimo turned and walked towards the outer hall.
"I’ll give you three minutes!"
Seeing him turn around, Luo Xiaoqian finally breathed a sigh of relief, quickly got dressed, and walked out into the hall.
On the table, several delicate dishes had already been arranged, and the porridge in the box was still steaming hot.
Leng Zimo sat in front of a piano not far away, with one hand on the music score and the other lightly playing a series of notes on the keys. Seeming unsatisfied with that section, he frowned slightly, repeatedly playing that particular asure back and forth.
"The fourth note would be better as F!" Luo Xiaoqian suggested softly.
Leng Zimo played it again, this ti he took her advice and changed the fourth note to F. Indeed, the effect was much improved.
Moved, he instantly added a half-beat to the asure, and the whole section imdiately flowed smoothly.
With pen in hand, he corrected the music score; he straightened up, satisfied, his peripheral vision catching Luo Xiaoqian standing to the side, and he promptly put down the pen.
"Why aren’t you eating?"
"I... was waiting for you!" Luo Xiaoqian replied naturally.
"Waiting for ?" A flicker of sothing different passed through Leng Zimo’s eyes.
"Of course, you are the employer, and I am the employee. How could I dare to eat without your word?"
This guy was so domineering and authoritarian, how could she know if he had any peculiarities regarding als? She was feeling so unwell now that she didn’t have the energy to deal with him.
Standing up, Leng Zimo strode to the table, and only then did Luo Xiaoqian walk over.
"Sit beside !" he commanded again.
With no other choice, Luo Xiaoqian had to abandon the seat farthest from him on the opposite side and sat next to him, moving a bowl of porridge in front of herself.
It was uncertain whether Leng Zimo did it on purpose or if it was simply his preference.
The dishes on the table were all light, and two of them were her favorites.
However, at that mont, Luo Xiaoqian really didn’t have much of an appetite, but she ate a little just for the sake of her stomach.
In the hall, there was only the sound of her swallowing softly.
Leng Zimo stood up again and walked away. After a mont, he ca back, stood behind her, one hand sifting through the hair on her shoulder, while the other hand reached over to unbutton the top button of her shirt.
