Xu Pei’s gaze swept over Leng Zimo’s hand on Luo Xiaoqian’s wrist, and she smiled, "Hey, showing off affection like this is really not cool, you know!"
"I like it." Leng Zimo didn’t take the nu and began to order efficiently, "Assorted hotpot, explosive tri-mix, deep-fried atballs..."

Finally, a ripple arose in Xu Pei’s calm gaze, "Give a bottle of Xiao Er, no, make it two!"
The drinks were swiftly served, and Leng Zimo and Luo Xiaoqian proposed a toast to Xu Pei with soy milk in place of alcohol.
Xu Pei didn’t hesitate at all, downing the 56-degree baijiu in one gulp. When the dishes arrived, she barely touched her food, and the small bottle of alcohol quickly emptied.
"Zimo?" Luo Xiaoqian glanced at Yu Tong, then looked at Leng Zimo with so concern.
With such intense liquor and Xu Pei asking for two bottles at once, Luo Xiaoqian couldn’t help but be concerned. Though she wanted to advise, the other person was Leng Zimo’s friend, and since they had just t, it wasn’t her place to speak out.
Leng Zimo smiled and placed food onto her plate, showing no intention of stopping Xu Pei, "No worries, don’t fret."
Hearing his words, Xu Pei tilted her head back and downed the freshly poured drink, "Xiao Qian, you don’t need to worry about . Let tell you, when it cos to drinking, none of these guys can beat ."
Seeing her face slightly flushed, yet still eating and maintaining her elegant deanor, Luo Xiaoqian felt relieved.
After drinking, Xu Pei beca even more talkative, mainly bringing up old stories with Leng Zimo and the others. Leng Zimo chatted with her while his hand casually rested on the table, covering Luo Xiaoqian’s hand and his thumb gently stroked her palm occasionally.
Luo Xiaoqian hadn’t drunk a sip of alcohol, but her face uncontrollably flushed red. She wanted to withdraw her hand, but his grip tightened, and he turned to her with an ambiguous smile.
