"You’re also amazing, my emotions were completely stirred up by you," Luo Xiaoqian said.
"Alright, you two besties should stop flattering each other already!" Yu Tong laughed as she walked up, handing two bottles to them, "Xiao Qian, your phone rang just now. You should check it out!"
"Wow..." Xu Xia exaggeratedly jeered, "The Frog Prince is calling!"
Luo Xiaoqian rolled her eyes at her and smiled as she ran over to Gao Jie and Lin Ye, grabbed her purse, and pulled out her phone.
Sure enough, there was a missed call, not from Leng Zimo but from Xu Pei; she hurriedly called back.
"Xiao Qian, there’s sothing I need to talk to you about. Can you co out for a mont? I’m right by the backstage exit!" Xu Pei’s voice imdiately ca through.
"Okay!"
Luo Xiaoqian hung up and grabbed her purse, ready to head out.
Gao Jie and Lin Ye imdiately followed her, "I’ll accompany you!"
"No need, I’m just going to the door and will be right back!"
Luo Xiao Qian waved them off, feeling quite unaccustod to being followed everywhere she went; it just felt weird to her.
Gao Jie and Lin Ye had been pre-warned by Yu Tong, assuming she was sneaking off to et with Leng Zimo. They exchanged knowing smiles and stopped following, not wanting to disturb the two.
Once outside the backstage area, Luo Xiaoqian looked around and saw a white Maserati. Xu Pei was waving at her, and she quickly ran over.
"Get in the car so the reporters don’t see you," Xu Pei said, opening the door for her.
Luo Xiaoqian didn’t think too much and got into the car, "Sister Xu Pei, what’s so urgent that you needed to see !"
Xu Pei pursed her lips, "Xiao Qian, I’m sorry, I’m really sorry, I... I didn’t an to do it!"
Luo Xiaoqian was sowhat baffled, "What are you doing?"
"I... because I’ve been busy planning your album lately, I specifically gathered so of your news clippings for inspiration. But yesterday, when I went to visit Uncle Leng and was bringing over a gift, I accidentally left the folder with the materials at the Leng Family’s, and then..." Xu Pei glanced at her sowhat embarrassingly, "Uncle Leng saw those scandal photos of you and Zimo. Even though I tried to cover it up, I think he definitely guessed that you two are together!"
Luo Xiaoqian was shocked; this situation was totally beyond her expectations, and for a while, she did not know what to say.

"Hello?" she answered the phone, puzzled.
"Is this Luo Xiaoqian? I’d like to et you," ca a deep male voice from the other end of the line.
