On stage.
Leng Zimo and Luo Xiaoqian slowly released each other from their embrace, exchanged smiles, and together turned their faces towards the audience, hand in hand.
"Thank you, thank you all!"
Luo Xiaoqian apologized to everyone through the microphone and then the two of them, still holding hands, bowed to the audience.
Leng Zimo nodded subtly to where the director was, and imdiately the stage lights dimd, signaling the beginning of the planned encore performance.
Taking advantage of the mont, he also took Luo Xiaoqian’s hand and walked off the stage.
Backstage.
Upon seeing Luo Xiaoqian, Xu Xia imdiately rushed over and embraced her.

At this ti, the staff also ca over to congratulate them. Although Leng Zimo didn’t say much, he too rarely smiled and nodded at everyone.

The two re-erged backstage and made their way through the darkness to the stands. Leng Zimo led Luo Xiaoqian up the stairs, exiting through the audience’s portal. By now, so of the audience had started to leave, and the two of them looked just like an ordinary couple at a concert. Who would have thought that the gods and goddesses that had just glowed on stage would leave with them, so no one paid them any attention.
They walked out of the Workers’ Stadium, and Leng Zimo briskly led her to the curb, where they imdiately got into Xiao Ding’s car that was waiting.
The rcedes sped off down the road and disappeared into the distance.
Sitting in the backseat, Luo Xiaoqian let out a small sigh of relief, then turned to smile at Leng Zimo.
"Did you escape like this before?"
Leng Zimo shook his head lightly, "Back then, I would play the piano by myself in the makeup room for a few hours, waiting for everyone to leave before I left."
Luo Xiaoqian was taken aback by the loneliness in his words. She didn’t speak, but gripped his hand, which held hers, even tighter.
He cupped her hand, gently ghosting over the ring on her finger with the pads of his fingers.
"The ti was too short; the ring is a bit plain," he said apologetically.
"Not at all!" Luo Xiaoqian cherished the silver ring set with a dark jade stone on her finger like a treasure. "How could Luo Xiaoqian’s engagent ring be plain?!"
