As the most mysterious and sought-after figure in the entertainnt industry, Leng Zimo was already accustod to such situations.
Luo Xiaoqian, however, was caught completely off guard. She lurched violently from the force of inertia.
Flustered, she reached out to grab onto sothing but grasped at nothing.
By then, the car had sharply turned into the left lane, and she could no longer maintain her balance; her entire body was thrown towards the back seat.
As luck would have it, she fell right onto him, her face slamming into his chest, feeling the solidity of the male torso. Her face flushed, she frantically tried to rise.
Before she could steady herself, the car jolted again. Already exhausted, she couldn’t hold on and suddenly fell to the floor, her head hurtling towards the car door.
Leng Zimo’s hand reached out in ti, hooking around her waist, pulling her into his arms, and pressing her against himself.
"If you don’t want to die, don’t move!"
Luo Xiaoqian, sensing the speed of the car and hearing the honking from outside the window, just clutched him tightly with a pale face, daring not to move again.
The car dashed through two yellow lights in quick succession, and the paparazzi following them were soon thrown off.
Feeling the car’s speed stabilize, Luo Xiaoqian, still shaken, loosened her fingers and opened her tightly shut eyes.
What ca into her view were two slightly separated legs clad in dark trousers.
Her face turned beet red in an instant!
Biting her lip, Luo Xiaoqian scrambled to her feet, awkwardly fleeing back to her original place, and sat down properly.
"So, you like this kind of thing!"
Across from her, Leng Zimo’s voice clearly carried a teasing tone.
"It’s you who likes it!" she instinctively retorted.
"I indeed like it!"
His tone was unruffled, the calm declaration made her wish she could bite her own tongue off.
She was so stupid, why did she retort like that? Of course, soone like him would like it!
"Disgusting!"
She muttered softly.
Leng Zimo looked at her cheeks, already flushed red, and a smile of satisfaction unconsciously appeared on his usually taut face.
"Since you like it, let’s try it tonight!"
Luo Xiaoqian looked at the scenery outside the window, pretending not to hear.
In her heart, however, she cursed silently.
She cursed the paparazzi, the driver, the car, Leng Zimo, and finally her own stupid mouth... Recalling his recent remark about liking, she felt her heart tighten once again.
Was this jerk joking, or... did he really want that from her?!
Her heart clenched, she stealthily glanced at Leng Zimo in the back seat, hoping to glean sothing from his expression.
But the mont she turned her head, she t his gaze.
He seed to have been waiting for her to look at him!
Their eyes t in the air.
Leng Zimo’s eyes were dark and deep, but not as cold as usual; there seed to be a hint of a smile in them.
Luo Xiaoqian was stunned for a few seconds before regaining her senses and hurriedly turned away. She rubbed her nose and continued to pretend to look at the scenery.
Smiling?
He was smiling?!
Impossible. How could such a devil smile?
She must have seen it wrong!
Noticing Leng Zimo’s reflection on the car window, she spitefully stuck out her tongue, made a face at him, and pretended to bite.
Then she saw his reflection on the window, already turned toward her.
