At eight o’clock in the evening, Luo Xiaoqian’s new album release party officially began.
The screening hall, which could accommodate more than a thousand people, was packed to the brim, with over half of the attendees being dia from various sectors and the other half, mbers of the "Qianqian Army" who had traveled from all over the country.
There was much anticipation for this album, and the fans were thrilled to be in such close proximity to Luo Xiaoqian.
After the host delivered a succinct opening speech, the entire venue went dark, music sounded, and the big screen started to play the music video for the album’s lead track "Destined."
This ti, the the idea for "Destined" was the currently popular ti-travel concept.
Using the narrative technique of jumping through ti, it depicted the ten lifetis of love between the male and female protagonists, a love that was destined.
Amidst a soul-piercing Buddhist chant, Luo Xiaoqian’s light and ethereal voice began to rise.
"The Buddha said: from love cos sorrow, from love cos fear. If one is free from love, they shall be free from sorrow and fear."
As the spotlights turned on, her silhouette appeared in everyone’s field of vision.
She was draped in white saree cloth that even covered her face, leaving only her eyes exposed.
She looked like a nun wishing to escape the earthly world.
However, the music suddenly changed, and the style shifted from light and elegant to the grand and captivating rhythm akin to Bollywood.
Luo Xiaoqian raised her hand, tore off the saree covering her, and as she spun with the music, the white saree fell away to reveal her sensual yet innocent white body-hugging outfit.
The dancers joined her on stage, and amidst the crowd, she sang and danced.
"I heard your call under the sunlight at midnight, I watched the stars, yet all I saw was the dazzling sunlight..."
The entire place erupted into cheers.
Although Luo Xiaoqian had danced at a concert before, it was a slow dance perford with much emotion. This ti, her performance was a pleasant surprise for everyone.
On stage, she fully unleashed the passion that was inherent within her.
Down below, Xu Pei and the other workers listened to the surrounding cheers, whistles, and applause...
Her lips could only muster a cold smile.

As the song ended, the entire venue burst into cheers, and the photographers hadn’t stopped snapping away.
Trying to catch her breath, Luo Xiaoqian stood firm and bowed to the audience.
"I’m really surprised, I didn’t expect that, Xiao Qian, you could dance so well!" The two hosts returned to the stage, standing to her left and right, "If I’m not mistaken, the song just now had a style similar to Bollywood, right?"
"Correct!" Luo Xiaoqian nodded with a smile, "So of the Buddhist chants and Bollywood music elents used in this song, including the outfit I was just wearing, were adapted from an Indian saree."
"As far as I know, this song is your original creation, correct?" The female host took over the conversation, "What inspired you to use this Indian style for your composition?"
"This song ca to when I was flying back from the Maldives after shooting the music video for a single. There was a similar piece of music playing on the airplane, and a lody just popped into my head. So, I wrote it down, and even the first line of the lyrics cos from a Buddhist scripture."
"The song is really wonderful. We often say, inspiration strikes suddenly, and it must be this feeling. Speaking of which, I also really like the lyrics of this song. We Chinese often say, fate is predestined by heaven, Miss Luo, what was your mindset when you were writing ’Destined’?"
