"So it boils down to a problem occurring between the completion of the recording and the trip to the factory to press the discs," Yu Tong said.
"Xiao Zhao and I were in charge of the factory supervision together," Xiao Zhou took the initiative to report his part of the work, "We were on top of it the whole ti; it shouldn’t have been possible for a leak to occur from the factory’s end."
Everyone fell into a deep thought.
Every link in the chain had a dedicated person responsible, so how did the information get leaked?!
"Ahem!" Xu Pei cleared her throat lightly, "What we’re discussing is under the assumption that none of us is a mole. Has it occurred to anyone that soone among us might have quietly passed the information to soone else to gain so sort of benefit?"
No one spoke up, her words were unpleasant, but they represented the only possibility at hand.
The eting hit a deadlock.
Nobody wanted to suspect their colleagues, yet the current situation left them no choice but to harbor doubts.
At the table, every person observed the others, considering who might be the mole.
"Zimo, what do you think?" Xu Pei asked.
"Tomorrow morning, if there are still no results, I will have the police involved in the investigation," Leng Zimo’s gaze swept over the first person in the room again, "Before tomorrow morning, if anyone would like to talk to in private, my phone will be on for 24 hours."
"Zimo?"
Luo Xiaoqian sensed the underlying aning of his words and spoke out softly.
Leng Zimo raised a hand to her shoulder.

No one spoke; they simply quietly left their chairs and left the conference room one by one.
In the end, only Leng Zimo, Luo Xiaoqian, and Xu Pei remained behind.
"I know there are things I shouldn’t say too much about, but Zimo, I still want to remind you that in the face of interest, anyone could do sothing they previously thought despicable. Xu Pei stopped in her tracks.
Leng Zimo turned to look at her silhouette, "Would you?"
"?" Xu Pei laughed as she turned around, tucking her hair back behind her ear, "Zimo, are you suspecting ?"
Leng Zimo didn’t smile, "I suspect everyone except Luo Xiaoqian."
"Zimo!" Luo Xiaoqian stood up with a smile, "Sister Xu Pei, you know how he is; he’s just too upset right now."
Xu Pei huffed and turned to leave.
Luo Xiaoqian moved to follow but was caught by the wrist by Leng Zimo and pulled back to the chair.
"After the recording was done that day, where did you all go?"
"To the Golden Palace, rember? You helped us book the room. Then we had dinner together, went to karaoke, and then each went ho..." Luo Xiaoqian furrowed her brow, "There was nothing out of the ordinary!"
Before she could finish speaking, Leng Zimo’s phone had already started to ring.
Pulling out his phone and seeing the number on the display, Leng Zimo answered the call with a puzzled look.
"Hello?" Listening to the voice on the phone, he first fell silent, then his eyebrows knitted tightly, and after a while, he responded, "Alright, I’ll be right there."
"What happened?" Luo Xiaoqian asked, puzzled.
Leng Zimo steadied her shoulder, "There’s a bit of trouble. You go back to the office first and call Gao Jie and Lin Ye to take you ho. Head straight ho later."
They walked out of the conference room together; Leng Zimo escorted her back to the office and then left with his car keys.
