She rushed into the rehearsal room just as Tong Ya was ordering everyone to change clothes.
Hearing Luo Xiaoqian’s footsteps, Tong Ya glanced at her sideways, didn’t make a sound, but a flash of thin anger clearly passed through her eyes.
"Xiao Qian, hurry up, it’s ti to change clothes!" Xu Xia busied herself calling out to her.
"Coming!" Luo Xiaoqian hurried over with a quick trot and walked with her into the changing room.
"So people really think they’re stars!" Shen Xinyi ridiculed without missing a beat.
"Acting like a diva at this point is really laughable!"
"Wearing a designer scarf deliberately on such a hot day, flaunting wealth isn’t done like that, right?"
Her two minions imdiately chid in, echoing each other.
Xu Xia snorted coldly, "What, jealous much? We can do whatever we want!"
"Forget it!" Luo Xiaoqian pulled her, "Hurry up and change, or we’ll be late!"
Shen Xinyi and the others didn’t want to be caught by Tong Ya, so they quickly changed without saying more.
"What’s the matter, are you still not feeling well?" Xu Xia asked while changing her own clothes.
Knowing Luo Xiaoqian as well as she did, Xu Xia knew that Luo Xiaoqian was not the type to be late; there had to be a reason for her tardiness.
"It’s nothing, just that my phone broke, the alarm didn’t go off, so I overslept!" Luo Xiaoqian lied with a drooping face, "By the way, could you co with to buy a new phone after class tonight?"
The coarse Xu Xia didn’t mind and imdiately agreed, "Sure!"
After changing clothes, the lesson began.
Thanks to last night’s rigorous practice, Luo Xiaoqian had already made so noticeable improvents; although still awkward and hard on the eyes, at least she wasn’t offbeat anymore, and finally, there was no chance for Tong Ya to catch her for punishnt.
Finally, it was lunchti.
As soon as the two entered the cafeteria, people instantly started pointing at Luo Xiaoqian, their gazes filled with insinuation.
"What’s going on?" Holding her food and finding a seat, Luo Xiaoqian looked puzzledly at Xu Xia across from her, "Is it my scarf that’s too eye-catching?"
Xu Xia just laughed it off, "Don’t worry, let’s eat!"
Luo Xiaoqian could tell there was sothing going on from her expression, "Co on, what is it?!"
"You really don’t know?" Xu Xia raised her face and asked softly.
"What is it, so secretive, did I make the headlines or sothing?!" Luo Xiaoqian said irritably.
"You really don’t know, do you?" Xu Xia said with a speechless expression, "Damn it, life is too unfair. Why do all these good things fall only on you? It’s just, once you’re famous, there’s no stopping it. Luo Xiaoqian, let tell you, you really did make the headlines!"
As she said it, she reached for the iPad, pulled up the news, and placed it in front of her.
"Dark horse Luo Xiaoqian in a midnight rendezvous with a mysterious man..." Luo Xiaoqian read out the headline, suddenly shocked, and imdiately scrolled down to open the photos beneath.
Upon seeing the photos, she breathed a sigh of relief.
The photo did not show her and Leng Zimo together, but instead, it was a photoshopped image.
On one side was her photo, and on the other, a black silhouette of a man with a big question mark drawn over it. The article below made wild guesses about this mysterious man.
"Driving a Rolls-Royce, tall in stature, and judging by the movents, probably very young..." Xu Xia read from the article, "Girl, who is this man?"
"Journalists writing nonsense, and you believe it!" Luo Xiaoqian gave her a look.
"As the saying goes, there’s no smoke without fire..." Xu Xia teased, tugging at the scarf around her, a mischievous smile on her face, "Otherwise, how could a poor girl like you afford Chanel?!"
