The two of them continued onwards together, winding around the forest, and sure enough, not far ahead, abutting the river, another ancient castle stood tall on the hillside, one side facing the river channel, even larger than Huangfu Ruo’s castle.
The castle was brightly lit, reflecting off the river in a shimring dance of light, as if a river of stars had been scattered across it.
From where Luo Xiaoqian stood, the view before her looked as if it were a scene straight out of a postcard, beautifully dreamlike.

A middle-aged man dressed in a black tailcoat opened the door with a smile, stepping aside and gesturing her to enter, then spoke in English with a thick British accent, "Welco, Your Royal Highness the Princess!"
Behind him, six maids stood in two rows, each clad in white aprons, all curtseying to her in unison.
A British butler, long-skirted maids, dazzling chandeliers, an opulent hall, and the faint sound of music...
