The ambulance siren blared urgently as it stopped at the entrance; the doors flew open, and several dical staff imdiately rushed a victim, whose head and face were scorched black, off the ambulance and hurriedly pushed them into the resuscitation room for ergency treatnt.
The local police officers followed.
"What happened?" The duty surgeon approached them while asking for details.
"Car accident, fire, severe burns; the patient is in a critical condition!" one of the doctors replied as they hurried along with the victim.
The two doctors quickly conferred on the ergency asures and sent the patient straight into the intensive care unit.
The police officers had also followed closely behind, and after a while, the doctor ca out of the resuscitation room.
The officers imdiately stood up, and one of them asked, "Doctor, how is she?"
"She’s still in a critical period, try to inform her family as soon as possible," the doctor said in a grave tone, "We’re doing our best to save her life, but the situation doesn’t look too optimistic."
The middle-aged officer frowned slightly, "We’re also trying to find a way. The vehicle was badly burnt, and we haven’t found any identification to prove her identity. In any case, please do your best to save her life."
The doctor nodded, "We will do our best."
The doctor went back into the intensive care unit, and the police officers walked to the window, looking through the glass at the patient in the ward.
