After resting for two days in the hospital, Leng Lin couldn’t stand it any longer and strongly requested to be discharged.

No sooner had he stepped through the door than the doorbell rang.
"Coming!" Leng Zirui opened the door to find Shen Yizhou and Tong Ya standing outside. His smile froze, "Brother Yizhou?"
"What, you look at as if you’re seeing the grim reaper!" Shen Yizhou stepped forward, comforting him with a pat on the shoulder, "Today, I’ve co to bring good news!"
"Good news?" Leng Zirui’s eyes lit up, "Dad’s examination results are out, how are they?"
Shen Yizhou gave him a sidelong glance, intentionally keeping him in suspense, "You can’t let co in, sit down and have a drink of water before I talk?"
Although he hadn’t said the outco, seeing that Shen Yizhou was still in the mood to joke, Leng Zirui guessed a part of it and smiled, stepping aside to let him in, "No problem, not just sitting down for a drink of water, if you’re willing, we can give you a ’full health package’ service!"
"I’ll pass on that, I’m not interested in your type," Shen Yizhou said, laughing as he walked inside.
anwhile, Luo Xiaoqian, who was helping Aunt Su make dumplings in the kitchen, also heard the voices and ca out. Seeing Shen Yizhou and Tong Ya, she quickly walked up to greet them, "Dr. Shen, you’re here?!"
Tong Ya frowned unhappily, "Really now, you all act as if I’m invisible or sothing! Let tell you, the lab results are right here in my pocket. If you keep ignoring , I might just take the lab report away."
Seeing both of them with relaxed expressions, Luo Xiaoqian’s heart also brightened, "Is it... good news?"
"I’m not telling you!" Tong Ya said with a smile.
"Enough, stop torturing them!" Shen Yizhou laughed as he took a seat on the couch, "Zirui, go call Uncle Leng and Zimo over, so I can announce the results."
"Roger that!" Leng Zirui bounded down the stairs, calling out, "Dad, brother, co downstairs, Brother Yizhou and Sister Tongya are here!"
Soon, the two brothers helped Leng Lin down, seating him on the couch. Everyone stood around the couch looking to Shen Yizhou, and even Xiao Liu and Aunt Su put down what they were doing and ca into the living room.
Everyone had been waiting eagerly for Leng Lin’s laboratory results, and now naturally they all wanted to know the answer firsthand.
"Co on Brother Yizhou, can’t you stop playing gas with us? This comrcial break is way too long, isn’t it?"
"Alright, I’ll get right to the point!" Shen Yizhou smiled and held up two fingers, "One piece of good news and one piece of bad news, which one do you want to hear first?"
"The good news."
"The bad news."
The two brothers spoke up at the sa ti but gave different answers.
Leng Zirui chose the good news, wanting to hear the pleasing part.
Leng Zimo chose the bad news, wanting to hear the worst so as to prepare for the best response.
"Seems there’s a disagreent between you brothers, so I’ll have to let Xiaoqian decide." Shen Yizhou turned towards Luo Xiaoqian, seated on a single small sofa, "Xiaoqian, you tell , should I start with the good news or the bad news?"
