"Why was the mirror in the bathroom removed?" Xu Pei looked at her seriously. "Tong Ya, tell the truth, is my face very badly injured?"
While in Italy, to prevent her from becoming overly emotional, the hospital had arranged a room without a mirror especially for patients with facial injuries.

Xu Pei cooperated and sat properly as the nurse handed over the necessary tools, and Lin Zhi carefully began to unwrap the gauze for her.

Upon hearing this, Xu Pei imdiately retracted her fingers, her eyes turning to Tong Ya who was standing by her side, "Do I look very ugly right now?"
Tong Ya, looking at her face which was almost deford, smiled calmly. "How could that be? You don’t look much different from before."
She was almost biting her teeth to smile, so as not to burden Xu Pei with too much worry.
In private, she had already cried countless tis out of pity for her.
After taking photos for the album and making detailed notes, Dr. Lin said, "Alright, we will now study your treatnt plan. What you need to do is rest well, take care of your health, and we can start the reconstructive surgery. The nurse will prepare a facial mask for you. Wear it on your face when you sleep to avoid pressing on the wound."
