All the trainees collectively bowed to her. Having interacted with her over the past few days, everyone could see that, despite her cold deanor and not-so-great temper, she wasn’t really such a cold person at heart; she was just a bit strict.
"Xiao Qian!" Xu Xia approached Luo Xiaoqian while changing her clothes, "Have you decided what song you’ll sing?"
The next round of the competition was divided into group performances and solo acts. The group performances would be divided into several teams, and the solo acts consisted of one song per person.
This ti, EM Company had put a lot of thought into designing the event. Although it was a competition, they hoped to set it apart from past talent shows, making the entire event feel more like a mature performance rather than just another audition.
"I want to sing ’Before It’s Too Late’!" Luo Xiaoqian said.
"Hmm, that suits your voice!" Xu Xia nodded, "I still haven’t decided. I want to sing rock, but I’m afraid it won’t be well-received!"
"Why not? I love the way you feel on stage!" Luo Xiaoqian gave her a thumbs-up, "I believe you can do it!"
"Then it’s settled. I’ll pick a song tonight!" Xu Xia packed the clothes she had changed out of into her backpack, "Let’s go out for a stroll, then head to Gui Street for so spicy crayfish. That’s a delightful decision!"
"Don’t eat spicy food, it’s bad for the throat, let’s just eat sothing else!" Luo Xiaoqian shouldered her backpack and walked out of the training room with her.
In the corner, Shen Xinyi watched their retreating figures with a cold smirk flashing in her eyes.
She pulled out her phone and quickly dialed a number, "She’s about to co out!"
As they took the elevator to the lobby, discussing the details of the next round, Luo Xiaoqian’s phone in her pocket began to ring.
After pulling out her phone and seeing the word "Tyrant" on the screen, she hurriedly pressed cancel.
"Who’s that? Why not take the call?"
"Scam call!" Luo Xiaoqian casually said, then stopped in her tracks, "I just rembered I have sothing to do today... my landlord asked to pay the rent, I need to go back first!"
"Alright then, I’ll call Chen Chao to accompany . Take care!" Waving to her, Xu Xia pulled out her phone and walked towards the curb.
Watching her hail a taxi, Luo Xiaoqian hurried down the steps and walked in the direction of World City, while swiftly redialing on her phone.
The mont the call connected, without giving Leng Zimo a chance to speak, she started explaining in a rush.
"Soone was nearby just now, I absolutely didn’t an to not answer, I was planning to call you back soon..."
"You really made wait!"
A figure suddenly erged from behind a nearby stone sculpture, blocking her path.
With his tall fra and dark casual attire, even reduced to ashes, Luo Xiaoqian would recognize the man before her.
That man was Lu Hao.
Luo Xiaoqian lifted her face, saw it was him, and her expression instantly turned cold. Without a word, she walked around him and continued forward, "How’s the temperature in Paris today, is it cold? Did you put on more clothes? I’d be worried if you caught a cold..."
Of course, she said this because Lu Hao was there.
"Luo Xiaoqian!" Lu Hao grabbed her, "Stop right there!"
He was so forceful that Luo Xiaoqian, caught off-guard, stumbled backward several steps and hit the wall, dropping her phone with a loud thud to the ground.
