Originally, if it was just a matter of glancing at the revised terms and signing a na, it wouldn’t take much ti.
But with such a deliberately altered contract, Leng Zimo naturally had to scrutinize it from start to finish. As ti ticked away, the sky outside gradually darkened.
Seo Fei was by the side, diligently serving water and tea, "It’s already seven o’clock, should we go eat first?!"
Leng Zimo glanced at the watch on his wrist, knowing it would take so more ti to finish reviewing the contract. He put it down for now and looked at the little one playing by the coffee table, "Mo Mo, what do you want to eat?"
Before Luo Jun could respond, Seo Fei quickly chid in, "I know there’s a new western restaurant across the street. How about we go there? Mo Mo needs good nutrition, and takeout isn’t healthy."
"Alright then." Leng Zimo stood up, "Mo Mo, let’s go eat, and we can play more when we get back."
Seo Fei was overjoyed, "Great, I’ll call right away and reserve a table for us."
The three of them arrived at the western restaurant. The waiter imdiately led them to the table Seo Fei had reserved, "You three look like a family of three. We have a new family set nu..."
"She’s not my mom." The little one imdiately corrected with displeasure.
"Sorry about that." The waiter apologized with a smile, "What would you three like to eat?"
"Mo Mo, what do you want to eat?" Leng Zimo quickly asked Luo Jun.
"Mo Mo probably can’t read the nu. How about Auntie order for you? How about a vegetable salad?" Seo Fei tried hard to make a good impression.
Clearly, Leng Zimo agreed to dine with her because of this little guy. Though she didn’t like him much, she pretended to for Leng Zimo’s sake.
But her attempt to flatter backfired terribly!
"I don’t like salad dressing!" Luo Jun rolled his eyes at her, then ordered in perfect English, "assorted vegetables, smoked carp..."
Leng Zimo smiled as he adjusted the little one’s napkin, "I’ll have the sa as him."
Seo Fei imdiately laughed, "Mo Mo is amazing, everything he ordered is what I love. I guess we all have the sa taste. I’ll have the sa."
"Would you three need any drinks?"
"President Leng, what kind of wine do you like?" Seo Fei asked with a smile from across the table.
"Uncle Zimo has to drive, he can’t drink." Luo Jun reminded promptly.
Seo Fei chuckled awkwardly, "Ah, Mo Mo is so clever. Auntie almost forgot."
"You’re so dumb!" Luo Jun’s tone was disdainful.
The waiter couldn’t hide his amusent, while Seo Fei was about to explode with anger.
Before long, the dishes were served. Seo Fei intended to seize the opportunity to chat more with Leng Zimo, but Leng Zimo spent most of his ti attending to Luo Jun, leaving her essentially ignored.
"Uncle Zimo, I’m full." Luo Jun put down his utensils.
"I’m full too." Leng Zimo glanced at the half-eaten fish on Seo Fei’s plate, frowning slightly, "Hurry up!"
The work was unfinished, and he still needed to take Luo Jun back to sleep. He had no ti to wait for her to eat slowly.
It was her first ti dining with him; Seo Fei didn’t want to upset Leng Zimo. She quickly put down her utensils, "I’m full too, let’s go back."
Back at the office, Leng Zimo quickly finished reviewing the latter part of the contract, handing the anded contract to her, "Update it imdiately and print it out!"
