Seo Fei grew more puzzled, "Why?"

"Okay, here’s the contact number from Sony." The assistant handed over the number she had and returned to her seat to continue working. Seo Fei sat at her desk, lost in thought.
After a mont, she opened the drawer, took out the business card Ailin had left her, and left her seat with her phone.
She walked to a secluded spot and dialed Ailin’s number from the business card.
"Hello, Sister Ailin, this is Seo Fei."
Ailin was just on maternity leave, not truly resigned. She had personally interviewed and hired Seo Fei, ntioning back then that any unclear matters could be directed to her. So when she received Seo Fei’s call, Ailin wasn’t surprised.
"Is there sothing work-related you need my help with?"
"I have so questions I want to ask you in person, are you free lately?" Seo Fei asked.
"I happen to be near Emperor View, how about we have lunch together?" Ailin suggested.
The two agreed to et at a nearby western restaurant, and Seo Fei hung up.
Returning to her desk, Seo Fei finished what she was working on and noticed it was lunchti. She grabbed her bag and headed to the restaurant.
It didn’t take long for Ailin, heavily pregnant, to arrive at the restaurant.
After so polite small talk, they each ordered their al, and Seo Fei began to ask, "This morning, we received a call from Sony, they want to buy the cover rights to Luo Xiaoqian’s original works, but the other assistant told that you instructed all similar matters to be rejected. Is that right?"
Ailin smiled, "Yes, I instructed that."
"Why?" Seo Fei asked, "Isn’t that detrintal to the company’s interests?"
Ailin took a sip of juice, "That was an order from President Leng. When Luo Xiaoqian decided to leave the entertainnt industry, all advertisent and performance activities were stopped, and regarding her works, it was specifically instructed that no singing or covering of her works would be permitted."
