"I just received a call, my mother is ill, I need to go to the United States for a while." John said apologetically, "I’m really sorry, but it might be delayed for a week or two."
"Is it very serious?" Luo Xiaoqian asked with concern.
"I think she is about to die." John said.
"I’m sorry." Luo Xiaoqian patted his shoulder in comfort, "It’s okay, you can go back, I’ll find a way to arrange things for MOMO."
John is a retired soldier, his wife divorced him last year, his mother is his only relative, Luo Xiaoqian certainly could not neglect human feelings like this.

"Have you booked the ticket, or should I ask Mike to arrange it for you?"
