The score had three words written on it, "White Moonlight."
It was a love song by the singer from Hong Kong and Taiwan, Zhang Xinzhe, only it seed he had made so adjustnts to the original score. The score was marked up with nurous revisions.
"I’ve already picked out a song..."
"Sing this one!" His tone was commanding.
"But..." She had been practicing "Before It’s Too Late" for the past few days, and although she liked this song, it wasn’t as familiar to her as "Before It’s Too Late."
Leng Zimo looked up, "Either sing this one or drop out of the competition!"
Although she had not had much interaction with him, Luo Xiaoqian knew that he ant what he said.
Now, music was her only emotional solace; she couldn’t afford to lose it, and nor did she want to anger him again. Right now, her body couldn’t handle his wrath at all.
So, she said.
"Fine, I’ll sing it!"

Slamming the door sharply, Luo Xiaoqian sat at the piano, her temper flaring.

He couldn’t hear her anyway, so she cursed loudly.
After cursing, her mood seed to lighten considerably, allowing her to focus on the score in front of her.
This piece, a masterpiece of the Japanese composer Matsumoto Toshimasa, was inspired by moonlight. As poetic as it was plaintive, the piece appeared simple but struck straight to the heart. How dare he change such a song?!
With a mix of curiosity and skepticism, Luo Xiaoqian set the score properly, placed her hands on the piano, and began to play and sing according to the modified score.

He hadn’t made many changes to the entire piece, just slight adjustnts on a few scales and added a piano solo in the middle. However, after these simple modifications, the song suited her voice even better.
After the initial skepticism, she easily slipped into the mood, and by the ti she finished singing, her face was covered in tears.
Why did he choose this song, just to make her sad?!
"No crying!"
Leng Zimo’s voice suddenly ca from the direction of the door.
