Burying his face in her neck, Leng Zimo softly spoke.
"Sissi, I miss you."
Feeling the warmth of Leng Zimo’s chest behind her, her heart had already started racing, "You...you go upstairs and play with Mo Mo for a while. Once I’m done here, we’ll go...to your place...to take a look..."
"Okay." He imdiately agreed with a smile, let go of her, and headed upstairs.
After a mont, Luo Xiaoqian tidied up the kitchen and went upstairs, only to see Leng Zimo playing checkers with John and Mo Mo.
Hearing her footsteps, Leng Zimo imdiately stood up, "Mo Mo, I’m borrowing your mom for a while, you don’t mind, do you?"
"What does Uncle Zimo need to borrow mom for?" Luo Jun asked curiously.
"Uncle Zimo has so work-related questions for your mom," Leng Zimo glanced at the slightly uneasy Luo Xiaoqian, "so your mom might be ho a bit late tonight."
"No problem, I have Uncle John to keep company." The little guy quickly agreed.
"You go ahead, MOMO has , have a pleasant ti working!"
John winked ambiguously at Leng Zimo; as an adult, he was well aware that their ’study session’ was definitely not about work issues.
"Today is Saturday, you can stay up half an hour later."
She kissed her son, and then Luo Xiaoqian left with Leng Zimo.
Leng Zimo didn’t drive; instead, the two walked through the grass towards the lakeside neighborhood where he lived.
He talked about Mo Mo’s situation today to Luo Xiaoqian, "Mo Mo’s performance was great today. Director Li even said the little guy is quite talented. I can see he enjoys movies; if you don’t mind, perhaps he could be exposed to them more in the future."
"Well... let it happen naturally." Luo Xiaoqian shrugged, "Rather than a child star, I prefer him having a simple and happy childhood like all ordinary children. When he grows up, he can decide what he wants to do. I won’t force him into anything."
Leng Zimo nodded, "Rest assured, I won’t leak his information."
"Alright..."
She suddenly stepped on a stone, her body swayed, his arm instinctively reached out, and he steadied her.

Without turning on any lights, he pressed her against the wall of the foyer.
The hallway was dim, yet Leng Zimo’s eyes were so bright, with flas of passion burning inside. Through the thin spring clothes, she could clearly feel the heat of his body.
