"I’m going to the bathroom to wash my face and touch up my makeup!" Xu Xia voluntarily walked into the bathroom. Luo Xiaoqian tidied up the table briefly, walked over, and opened the door. Mike entered with the prepared contract terms, handing them to her, "Please take a look, and if there are no issues, we can sign the contract."
Luo Xiaoqian took the printed docunts from his hand, sat back at the desk to review them. Xu Xia had already returned from the bathroom, having washed her face and reapplied makeup. She had also put on her sunglasses to cover her red, teary eyes.
"No issues!" Luo Xiaoqian took the pen and signed her na at the signature line on the docunt, handing it to Mike, then turned to Xu Xia with her palm extended, "Miss Xu, it’s a pleasure doing business!"
"A pleasure doing business!" Xu Xia cooperatively walked over and shook her hand.
After five years of tumbling through the entertainnt industry, even the sharp-edged Xu Xia had learned how to act.
"Our chat today wasn’t too thorough. How about we have dinner together tomorrow night?" Luo Xiaoqian smiled and asked while holding her hand.
"Call then." Xu Xia returned the smile and then fished out a card from her bag, handing it to her, "My phone number is on it."
"I have sothing to do, I need to head out for a while, so I won’t see you off!" Luo Xiaoqian took the card, "See you tomorrow night."
Then, she raised her hand and shared a courteous hug with Xu Xia.
"Keep my matters confidential for now." She gently reminded Xu Xia by her ear, then straightened up, "Mike, please make arrangents for lunch!"
"Okay." Mike agreed, smiling, and gestured politely to Xu Xia, "Miss Xu, shall we head to the conference room?"
"Sissi, see you tomorrow night!" Xu Xia waved at Luo Xiaoqian before leaving the office with Mike.
After they left, Luo Xiaoqian sat at the desk, looking at the card Xu Xia handed her. Under the phone section, there were two numbers. She imdiately recognized one — the number Xu Xia used five years ago.
In the circle, people are usually very sensitive about phone numbers. Xu Xia had kept her number from before she beca famous, fearing that one day Luo Xiaoqian would want to find her but couldn’t.
Looking at that number, Luo Xiaoqian felt deeply moved.
