Now reading: Chapter 109 - 85: Who Else Is Qualified Besides Pei Ze? from Age of Wizards: I Can Analyze All Things, a Eastern novel by Zelda Wanderer.

Ti flew by.

Before long, it was late February.

「In the apartnt living room.」

Wuyu was sunbathing by the window, as usual.

anwhile, Xiaoyi was sprawled out on the sofa, fast asleep. Its slender limbs stuck out from under the blanket in a most ungraceful posture.

It smacked its lips from ti to ti, mumbling things like, "Another round," and, "I can still drink," in its sleep.

Nearby, Pei Ze sat bolt upright, intently examining his status.

[Spirit 160.00]

[Physique 84.72]

Pei Ze let out a long sigh of relief.

It had been nearly two months since he created the All-Knowing ditation Technique, and he had finally completed the last Will Rune.

The later Will Runes, after all, required progressively more ti to analyze.

This was especially true for the Will Runes after number 24; each one took over a hundred days to analyze.

Rune 32’s analysis ti was even higher, at over five hundred days.

Without the Eye of Omniscience, it would have taken Pei Ze at least a decade to construct all the Will Runes.

Fortunately, all the Will Runes were now complete, and his Spirit attribute had reached 160. He had finally t the requirents to condense a Spirit Crystal.

’Unfortunately, after my Spirit attribute reached 160, it won’t increase any further, no matter how much I ditate.’

Pei Ze touched his temple, a glint in his eyes.

’It seems this is the limit for a Wizard Apprentice. Unless I condense a Spirit Crystal, break through to beco a Wizard, and undergo a fundantal life-essence sublimation, my Spiritual Power will be capped for life.’

Pei Ze closed his eyes and reviewed the mories in his mind.

He had spent a lot of ti in the library recently. Besides researching rare tals, he had been looking up information on how to condense a Spirit Crystal.

In truth, the thods Wizards used to condense a Spirit Crystal were all largely the sa. To put it simply, it was a matter of continuously compressing one’s Spiritual Power until it crystallized.

But this was far easier said than done.

Furthermore, if the condensation failed, the mildest consequence was damage to one’s Spirit and a permanent reduction in Spiritual Power, requiring a great deal of ti in ditation to recover.

The most severe consequence was death.

Every year, nurous Wizard Apprentices perished this way.

For tens of thousands of years, countless Wizard Apprentices in the Star Realm Alliance had been stuck at this stage, unable to advance to the rank of Wizard for their entire lives.

Opening his eyes, Pei Ze exhaled and gave a silent command. ’Omniscience, based on the information I’ve gathered these past few days, formulate a suitable thod for to condense a Spirit Crystal.’

[Task created. Organizing data. Estimated ti: 3 days.]

Pei Ze used Spiritual Acceleration without hesitation.

In an instant, a vast amount of knowledge flooded his mind.

After taking a mont to process it all, Pei Ze issued another command.

’Omniscience, predict my success rate for condensing a Spirit Crystal right now.’

[13.51%]

"That low?"

Pei Ze frowned and shook his head.

’Right. The more Will Runes one has, the harder it is to condense a Spirit Crystal.’

’And I’ve constructed 32 Will Runes—a number likely unprecedented in Chenxi City, perhaps even in the entire Wizard World. The difficulty I face is probably far beyond what an ordinary person can imagine.’

’On top of that, my natural aptitude isn’t exceptional. My rapid progress so far has been entirely thanks to the Eye of Omniscience.’

’A success rate of over ten percent is actually not bad, all things considered.’

According to Chenxi City’s official statistics, the average success rate for a Wizard Apprentice to condense a Spirit Crystal, without any external aid, is only about twenty percent.

’What about with Li Xin Water?’ Pei Ze issued a new command.

To increase the success rate of condensing a Spirit Crystal, Wizards had created many assistive potions.

Using these potions not only increased the success rate but also offered protection. Even if the process failed, the user would at most lose so Spiritual Power rather than their life.

And Li Xin Water was the most effective of these potions.

[Please specify the quantity of Li Xin Water]

’One standard dose,’ Pei Ze thought.

[28.61%]

’Only a fifteen-percent increase?’

Pei Ze’s brows knitted together.

’Li Xin Water is supposed to provide an average boost of twenty-five percent!’

’For , its effectiveness is reduced by nearly forty percent.’

’What about two standard doses?’

[41.16%]

’Three standard doses.’

[50.23%]

’Four standard doses.’

[54.19%]

’Five standard doses.’

[54.34%]

Pei Ze shook his head. ’Looks like five standard doses of Li Xin Water is the max.’

’Any more than that won’t increase the success rate.’

’A success rate of less than sixty percent is still too low. Besides, Li Xin Water is incredibly precious. It’s difficult enough for an ordinary Wizard Apprentice to get their hands on a single dose, let alone five.’

’I wonder if Mo Weng has any Li Xin Water?’

Pei Ze quickly ford a plan. He would find so ti to ask Mo Weng about condensing a Spirit Crystal.

A success rate of just over fifty percent was far too low; he couldn’t possibly attempt it with a nearly fifty-fifty chance of failure.

Not even with the protection of Li Xin Water, which would prevent death upon failure.

He would need at least an eighty or ninety percent chance of success to make it worth the attempt.

This was one of the advantages Pei Ze had over other Wizard Apprentices.

Thanks to the Eye of Omniscience, he knew his exact success rate for condensing a Spirit Crystal.

If the rate was too low, he wouldn’t rush in blindly. Instead, he could choose to continue gathering materials and resources to steadily increase his chances.

This was far safer than the approach of other apprentices, who had to take a leap of faith and leave things to fate.

This was the primary reason Pei Ze was so confident he would eventually beco a Wizard.

Even if he couldn’t get a viable solution from Mo Weng, he could simply wait, gather more data, and use the Eye of Omniscience to calculate a way to improve his odds.

There was always a solution.

Putting the matter aside for now, Pei Ze focused his thoughts. In an instant, the silver bracelet on his left wrist lted like hot butter. The liquid tal flowed into the palm of his right hand, where it rapidly elongated and solidified into a silver Longsword.
