It could even hold its own in a direct confrontation with a Grand Knight.
And that was without even factoring in its ability to summon Fog Crows.
After more than half a month of conversion, Wuyu now held over a thousand Fog Crows within its body.
Each one possessed the combat power of a Middle Knight.
Combined with its eerie mist-form ability, even a Grand Knight could be caught off guard and suffer for it if they weren’t careful.

The battle erupted in an instant, quickly reaching a fever pitch.
The shriek of blades tearing through the air and the whoosh of wings slicing through the void echoed continuously, instantly filling the entire street.
Thousands of Fog Crows sward the four Grand Knights, launching relentless, fearless charges.
Facing these monsters, whose combat power was comparable to that of Middle Knights, even warriors as strong as Grand Knights dared not underestimate them.
They had to infuse their weapons with large amounts of Fighting Qi, and only by putting their full power into every swing could they instantly shred a single Fog Crow.
"Damn it, what the hell are these monsters?"
The black-robed man’s heart filled with horror.
’I thought a Second-level Wizard Apprentice specializing in potions wouldn’t be much of a fighter. I never expected him to have such a powerful familiar.’

The black-robed man turned to see that thick, child-arm-sized vines had sprouted from beneath his injured companion’s feet. They scrambled up his ankles, and in the blink of an eye, had his lower body completely bound.
The Grand Knight tried to swing his sword to sever the vines but was too preoccupied with the Fog Crows to act.
In the next instant, with a nearly inaudible whistle, a basketball-sized glob of acid shot through the air.
The Fog Crows in its path dematerialized into mist, clearing a path for it with perfect coordination.
But the Grand Knight, his vision obscured by the Fog Crows, only realized what was happening when the acid was right in front of his face.
By then, it was too late to dodge.
The next second, the acid slamd into his head!
HSSS!
The Fighting Qi Shield covering his body didn’t even last an instant before it was corroded through. The acid made direct contact with his skin and flesh, and amid a sizzle of white smoke, a large hole was instantly eaten through the Grand Knight’s face.
Without even ti to scream, he collapsed to the ground, convulsing. It was clear he wasn’t going to survive.
Not far away, Pei Ze lowered his hand, his face devoid of expression.
With his current Spiritual Power, a single acid splash had a power of nearly 9.0 degrees.
An ordinary Grand Knight could only barely reach such power by unleashing a combat technique with their full strength.
The outco of taking such a devastating blow to a vital area like the head was self-evident.
Tearing his eyes away from the corpse, Pei Ze looked coldly at the remaining three.
The death of their companion made the remaining three’s faces pale in horror as they inwardly cursed their rotten luck.
’Four Grand Knights and a Peak Knight-level archer... a team like this should be more than enough to ambush a Third-level Wizard Apprentice, let alone a Second-level one. It should have been a piece of cake.’
They never would have dread of such an outco.
In just a few short monts, they had already lost two companions.
The target was far more formidable than they had ever anticipated!
Seeing that they would likely die here as well if the fight continued, the three n simultaneously had the sa thought: retreat.
Pei Ze keenly sensed their intentions, and a cold glint flashed in his eyes.
"Thinking of leaving? Did you ask for my permission?"
He raised his hand and aid at one of them, casting a Dizziness Technique.
The man was just about to break through the encirclent when his head suddenly felt imnsely heavy, as if he had been brutally struck with a sledgehamr!
In an instant, his head grew groggy, the world began to spin, and his limbs refused to obey his commands.
The improved Dizziness Technique was greatly enhanced in both its effect and duration.
Even a Grand Knight took nearly a full second to recover.
In a fast-paced battle, a single second was more than enough to be decisive.
RIP! RIP! RIP!
Innurable sharp, hook-like claws descended upon him!
The Grand Knight, having just recovered from the stun, was torn to shreds by the horde of Fog Crows in the blink of an eye!
Another Grand Knight had fallen!
Without pausing, Pei Ze aid at another man and cast the Dizziness Technique again.

The Grand Knight only had ti to let out a short cry of alarm before he was swallowed by the endless tide of Fog Crows.
When the Fog Crows dispersed, all that remained was a vaguely humanoid, mangled pile of gore.
In the blink of an eye, of the four Grand Knights, only the black-robed man remained.
Watching this, the black-robed man felt as if he’d been plunged into an icy abyss, a chilling numbness spreading through his limbs.
As Pei Ze’s gaze fell upon him, he shuddered and hastily cried out, "Spare ! I can give you money! Five Thousand Gold Coins!"
Seeing Pei Ze remained unmoved, he quickly raised the price.
"How about Eight Thousand Gold Coins?"
"Ten Thousand Gold Coins!"
Pei Ze sneered. "If I kill you, the money on your body will be mine all the sa."
Hearing this, the black-robed man’s heart went cold, and his face filled with despair.
But that despair quickly morphed into resentnt and fury. He glared at Pei Ze with venomous eyes and snarled through gritted teeth, "Even if I die, I’m taking you with !"
He roared as a powerful, violent aura erupted from his body. Raising his broadsword high, he brought it crashing down.
BOOM!
Amid the deafening blast, a furious gale materialized from thin air, forming an invisible shockwave that swept forward, shredding and annihilating the nurous Fog Crows in its path!
Viewed from above, it was as if an invisible wave of Sword Qi had torn through the dense swarm of Fog Crows, carving a clear path straight toward Pei Ze.
BOOM!
The shockwave slamd into Pei Ze, kicking up a massive cloud of dust!
A savage grin spread across the black-robed man’s face.
’That combat technique was my ultimate attack, and it consud more than half of my stamina.’
’Even if that kid isn’t dead, he’s got to be severely wounded!’
He took a deep breath, mustered his remaining strength, and charged toward Pei Ze’s position, intending to press his advantage and finish him off.
But after only a few steps, a strong gust of wind blew the dust away, revealing Pei Ze’s figure.
There in the night, Pei Ze stood completely unscathed, not having moved a single step.
"How is that possible?!"
The black-robed man’s eyes widened in disbelief.
He couldn’t believe that his ultimate attack, delivered with all his might, hadn’t even managed to scratch him!
"A decent combat technique."
Pei Ze looked at the black-robed man with a calm expression and gave a slight nod.
’Judging from the feedback from the Protective Ring, that last attack had a power of nearly 7.0 degrees, which is extrely close to the instantaneous defense limit of the Protective Force Field.’
’And that was after its power had been significantly reduced by destroying forty or fifty Fog Crows.’
’If the attack had hit at full power, I would likely have been injured.’
Pei Ze was being sincere, but his words sounded like mockery to the black-robed man. The man’s face flushed a deep crimson, then just as quickly drained of all color, becoming deathly pale.
’If even my strongest technique couldn’t harm Pei Ze, what hope do I have?’

Wuyu flapped its Mist Feather Wings. Black energy surged from its body as Fog Crows stread out, gathering into a dark cloud that blotted out the sky and charged toward the black-robed man.
Watching this, the black-robed man’s eyes filled with uncontrollable despair.
