Zhang Tianhua’s gaze swept over them, he could deduce their identities from the clothes these corpses were wearing.
"Who killed them?"
Xi Xiaoyu frowned, believing these people couldn’t have died here for no reason. Could it be that so kind of treasure had erged here, leading to fierce competition?

Mo Wangchen observed for a mont and concluded, "There is a hidden small killing array here. These people must have accidentally activated it, leading to their death."

Mo Wangchen quickly spoke to stop him, "That is the array eye of the killing array. If activated, it will trigger the killing array here."
Upon hearing this, Xi Xiaoyu’s face changed instantly, and he quickly withdrew his half-stretched hand.
"A stone sword here, no wonder people couldn’t resist touching it. These people definitely triggered the killing array because of this sword," Zhang Tianhua said.
"There are footprints ahead, indicating that so survivors managed to get away," Mo Wangchen walked through those corpses to the front, speaking as he did.

Mo Wangchen nodded, and the three continued forward. After about a quarter of an hour, they ca upon three more corpses, and Mo Wangchen found upon close inspection that these three had also died from the killing array.
"In these forks, killing arrays are not limited to one. The further inward you go, the more you encounter, one linked to the other, making it hard to guard against." Zhang Tianhua frowned, feeling increasingly uneasy.
"Stay close to and be careful."
Mo Wangchen frowned, cautiously continuing forward. After passing the three corpses on the ground, he suddenly stopped.
"What’s wrong?" Xi Xiaoyu asked, puzzled.
"There is an ancient array ahead. Look at the surrounding rock walls. There are eight light spots, much brighter than the others, which sustain the array until now."
Mo Wangchen had noticed those eight light spots early on but had not paid much attention. However, being cautious, he used the array true technique to deduce it and found subtle nuances in the layout of those eight light spots.
"What should we do? Do we continue forward?"
After hearing Mo Wangchen’s words, Xi Xiaoyu grew more uneasy, recalling the images of those who had died horribly, making him shiver inside.
"If Brother Mo is right, the road ahead is our only exit. How can we retreat?" Zhang Tianhua said, his expression equally serious.
Mo Wangchen analyzed for a mont and then said, "This is just a common eight trigrams array. With so caution, we should be able to pass through safely."
"Brother Mo is also skilled in the path of arrays?" Zhang Tianhua and Xi Xiaoyu were startled.
"The eight gates are rest, life, harm, blockage, view, death, shock, and open. I know a bit about them."
Mo Wangchen didn’t explain much further, signaling them to stay close and then began moving forward.
"This is the gate of harm; do not enter lightly, lest you bleed."
After walking a few steps, he stopped again, slightly changing direction to the left, saying, "The view gate is auspicious, one of the ways of life, go this way."
"The blockage gate avoids disasters yet hides dangers. It has both good and bad ons, so it’s best not to risk it unless necessary."
While speaking, Mo Wangchen observed carefully again, eventually choosing to move to the right, saying, "This is the rest gate, the center among the eight gates, and the most important array position, hence with no danger within."
"Brother Mo is truly talented, skilled in the path of arrays; impressive!"

"Brother Mo ans we need to guess between the life gate and death gate?" Xi Xiaoyu’s face didn’t look good as he spoke.
Mo Wangchen nodded, "We can only rely on guessing. Such an array, with my current understanding of the array path, would take months to resolve."
Months are too long; the Chaotic God Tomb opens for only a few days at a ti. If not exited within those days, one might be sealed inside for hundreds or even thousands of years.
"It’s here, left or right..."
Finally, Mo Wangchen stopped, unwilling to proceed further, as he couldn’t deduce which side was the life gate and which was the death gate.
"I will go first, taking the left path. If it’s safe, you can follow. If sothing happens, take the right path instead." After contemplating, Mo Wangchen spoke.
"No way, Brother Mo has helped us so much. How can we let you take the risk? Let go first." Zhang Tianhua frowned, knowing he would have died at the hands of the five families’ experts if not for Mo Wangchen.
His life was saved by Mo Wangchen; he could not let Mo take the risk first.
"No need to argue. The death gate isn’t truly a dead end; it could lead to a small teleportation array. If accidentally stepped into, it could transport us sowhere else. This fork is fraught with danger, with nurous ancient arrays present. Even if I get teleported elsewhere, I can manage with my array path skills."
Without waiting for Zhang Tianhua or Xi Xiaoyu to respond, he stepped toward the left.
"Buzz..."
The space trembled slightly, and before Zhang Tianhua and Xi Xiaoyu’s eyes, Mo Wangchen vanished into thin air as soon as his foot fell.
