The beast had a mountain-like body, covered in brown fur, with sharp horns on its head, surrounded by electric arcs. It opened its gaping mouth and unleashed a thunderbolt, as if falling from the sky, instantly turning a fleeing young man to ashes.
"Take a detour, avoid this place."
Zhuge Ye frowned slightly; this beast adeptly wielded the Power of thunder and lightning to attack, and its massive size and formidable defensive power ant that engaging it would likely result in casualties for his team, and it would be a waste of ti.
Obediently, Mo Wangchen complied and began to lead the team through the dense forest to the left.
It’s hard to say how long it took, but after rounding a hill, a giant lake appeared before them.
The lake water was clear, yet it was unfathomable, with no ripples on the surface like dead water.
Flanking the lake were towering mountains, often shrouded in the toxic mist above.
"It seems that if we want to proceed forward, we’ll have to cross over this lake." Soone from the team spoke up.
The mountains on both sides of the lake were too steep to walk through, and mists of toxins lingered among the peaks; inhaling them in large amounts could be fatal, even to a strong practitioner of the Reverse Life Realm.

"What’s the way?" The alluring woman asked.
Mo Wangchen smiled and said, "We could go back the way we ca and kill that beast."
"That beast can spit electric arcs, flattening a mountain with a swipe. Killing it is quite possible, but pointless and ti-consuming," Zhuge Ye shook his head.
"This lake’s clear water, yet seems suspicious; crossing it could lead to unexpected events," Mo Wangchen stated.
With powerful Perception, he probed the lake’s depths; although unable to discern its exact contents, he could sense an unusual disturbance lurking beneath the deep water.
"We haven’t detected any anomalies; you’re just a novice of Reverse Life Realm first level, boasting a lot—soone might really think you’re great," the alluring woman sneered, and although she spoke this way, she turned her gaze to Zhuge Ye, seemingly waiting for him to decide.
"Cross the water," Zhuge Ye contemplated for a mont, before finally saying.
"Clang!"
The alluring woman walked up to Mo Wangchen, her Treasure Sword erged, directly touching Mo Wangchen’s throat, "You walk first."
Mo Wangchen shrugged helplessly and simply said, "You better not regret it."
After speaking, he began walking on the gigantic lake, stepping above the water, maintaining about an inch of distance from the surface.
The alluring woman followed closely, her razor-sharp Treasure Sword pointed at Mo Wangchen’s throat, ready to strike if he made any move.
Zhuge Ye led the team behind Mo Wangchen and the alluring woman, ten steps apart, also traversing the lake as if walking on flat ground.
The closer they got to the lake’s center, the colder the air beca, as if sothing extrely frigid lay beneath the unfathomable depths.
The vast lake surface spanned a considerable distance; given their pace, it would take them approximately a quarter of an hour to reach the other side.

A monstrous roar reverberated, shaking hearts like an audio assault, threatening to rupture eardrums. The next second, a dark shadow erged from within the lake—it was a colossal Giant Dragon, shimring all over like an ice sculpture.
It was an Ice Dragon; as it burst from the water, the chill in the air abruptly reached an astounding level, causing many to involuntarily shiver.
"Roar!"
The Ice Dragon lunged, directly targeting the team, roaring angrily before swooping down to unleash a storm of snow and wind, turning three who failed to escape into ice sculptures instantly.
"Retreat quickly!"
Zhuge Ye shouted, surrounded by Holy Light, and now had no choice but to intervene; otherwise, the team would suffer severe losses.
"Boom!"
Emitting a soaring Reverse Power, the air began to warm up, Zhuge Ye transford into a radiant Bright Sun, dazzlingly charged forward to engage the Ice Dragon head-on.
