241: Chapter 232 Saint Venerable Ancient Tomb 241: Chapter 232 Saint Venerable Ancient Tomb “Yaochi Saint Venerable, huh…”
“It seems that the lady who took Senior Sister Qin Yue away that day must have been the Yaochi Saint Venerable.”
Mo Wangchen lowered his head and pondered as he walked through the city.
“Hmm?”
Suddenly, he seed to sense sothing, turned around, and discovered that unknowingly, a little girl had been following him.
The girl was in ragged clothes, patched up, and covered with mud.
Her small face, resembling a dirty kitten, was filthy, but her large sparkling eyes, blinking and brimming with spirit, were fixed on him.
Mo Wangchen was startled for a mont, then walked towards the little girl.
Seeing him approaching, the little girl seed sowhat afraid and stepped back twice.
“Little sister, are you alone?
Where are your parents?” Mo Wangchen asked with a smile, trying his best to appear friendly.
He crouched down and stroked the girl’s hair.
The little girl shook her head.
At only about seven or eight years old, her sparkling large eyes looked up at Mo Wangchen and she said, “I’m hungry.”
Mo Wangchen paused, then stood up and bought so food from nearby, handing it to the girl’s hands, “Eat this.”
With food in her hands, the girl didn’t start eating right away.
Her large eyes still fixed on Mo Wangchen, a happy smile appeared on her face, “Thank you.”
Mo Wangchen stood up, sighing.
While the little girl was endearing, currently, with ancient martial families and hidden sects monitoring him and his safety in jeopardy, he couldn’t possibly take the little girl with him.
He decided to help as he could, pulling out so Gold Coins and surreptitiously slipping them into the pocket of the girl’s tattered clothes.
Then, he patted the girl’s head, “If you get hungry later, use this money to buy so food.”
Having said that, he no longer hesitated and left the place.
…
Mo Wangchen rented a courtyard in the city, planning to temporarily reside there and absorb more of the effects of the Holy Fruit in his body to substantially enhance his cultivation.
Half a month later, his cultivation had soared to the seventh level of the Returning Ruins Realm, and his Heavenly Dao Body had also undergone a qualitative change and beca much stronger.
Boom boom boom!
While Mo Wangchen was ditating with his eyes closed, suddenly, the ground shook imnsely, affecting a large area as if the entire city was quaking.
He frowned, walked out of the courtyard, and the people in the city were equally surprised, not knowing what had happened.
The vibration didn’t last long, only about ten breaths, and when the ground returned to calm, Mo Wangchen didn’t dwell on it.
Just as he was about to turn back to the courtyard, suddenly, several cultivators appeared in the sky above the city.
“Ten miles outside the city, the ground has torn apart, revealing Ancient Alien Species with an Ancient Holy Weapon flying out!”
The news set the city astir.
Ancient Holy Weapons were highly tempting even for ancient martial families and hidden sects.
“Could there be so connection between the two?” Mo Wangchen frowned, thinking of the recent appearance of Kunpeng.
He didn’t leave, but he also didn’t act rashly.
Treasures were attractive, but Ancient Alien Species were not to be underestimated.
With his current cultivation, acting recklessly could be very dangerous.
Five days later…
During these five days, the news of the ground tearing apart outside the city had spread widely, drawing people from various places.
Many cultivators grouped together to explore, but around the cracks, nurous Ancient Alien Species blocked the path.
Many had tried and failed to enter, resulting in considerable casualties.
On this day, the forces from the hidden sects and ancient martial families arrived, initially just young disciples, nearly a hundred in total.
Yet these hundred were each formidable, having stepped into the Primordial Spirit Realm level.
Additionally, equipped with Holy Weapons, the offspring of the hidden sects and ancient martial families joined forces, aiming to reach the edge of the crack and see for themselves.
A day later, news ca back; though the disciples could not penetrate further, they discovered astonishing news.
“Beneath the split earth, there actually existed a Saint Venerable Tomb?”
“Those Hidden Sect disciples reportedly didn’t venture deep, yet even from the periphery, using special thods, they discovered it was indeed a Saint Venerable Tomb!”
The so-called Saint Venerable, throughout the historical river of Beiming Land, were also mighty entities, like the current Yaochi Saint Venerable who had lived for thousands of years with unfathomable cultivation.
Upon the news of the Saint Venerable Tomb breaking out, Beiming Land shook once again, attracting more Cultivators who hurried over, for the burial site of a Saint Venerable must surely contain nurous treasures.
“That’s shocking!
First, Kunpeng appeared, and now a Saint Venerable Tomb.
Could sothing big be happening in Beiming?”
“In our history of Beiming, a Saint Venerable is an unparalleled existence; the ergence of the tomb is no small matter.
It’s said that recently a group of Cultivators desired to explore it, but nearly none returned alive.
They were all annihilated by Ancient Alien Species on the edges of the crevices, and many from the Primordial Spirit Realm even fell.”
“It’s heard that those Ancient Martial Families and Hidden Sects have already sent over experts, ready to head to the tomb.
I wonder if they can make it inside?”
“Although Ancient Alien Species are powerful, if those forces take action, they shouldn’t have much of an issue…”
Mo Wangchen, hidden among the crowd, gained a lot of information.
He didn’t imdiately leave the area; the ergence of the tomb astonished the world, and he too wanted to see what was really going on.
Boom!
All of a sudden, from above the sky, a strong vibration was heard as figures soared into the air, their auras rging together, creating a montum that was terrifying.
“It’s the people from the Ancient Martial Families and Hidden Sects, they are making a move!”
Amidst the surprised looks of the crowd, over a hundred figures already gathered together, forming a formidable force.
Leading them were a dozen Creation Realm experts, with the rest being the disciples of those Hidden Sects and Ancient Martial Families.
“Let’s go!
With them leading, we might as well follow and enter!” soone suggested, eyes shining with excitent, planning to sneak in amidst the chaos.
At once, a large number of Cultivators from the city soared into the sky, following the Ancient Martial Families and Hidden Sects towards the Saint Venerable Tomb.
Mo Wangchen furrowed his brow, choosing like so Cultivators to proceed on foot, darting through the woods.
Having traveled several miles, Mo Wangchen occasionally heard earth-shaking roars that were deafening, sending shivers down one’s spine!
Along the way, he also saw quite a few bodies of the Ancient Alien Species, evidently all killed by those Ancient Martial Families and Hidden Sects.
With the experts from these families and sects paving the way, many troubles were indeed resolved.
Boom!
Suddenly, a disturbance ca from ahead.
The ground trembled slightly, and soon after, a throng of figures were seen flying back, each with a look of panic on their faces.
“Run!”
“A horde of Ancient Alien Beasts has surged out from the tomb, imnsely powerful, devouring with just an open mouth, nearly wiping out many of the disciples from those Ancient Martial Families and Hidden Sects!”
“What?
Ancient Alien Beasts?” Hearing this, the Cultivators on the ground, who were relatively behind, changed their expressions and without hesitation, leapt into the air, blasting out towards the outside.
Roar!
At the sa ti, not far away, an Ancient Alien Beast with a body as large as a mountain appeared, its four legs like those of an elephant.
Each step it took made the ground tremble, and with a huge opening of its mouth, a strong suction force drew in many Cultivators who had not managed to escape promptly, including so disciples from those Ancient Martial Families and Hidden Sects.
Even Primordial Spirit Realm experts could not withstand a single strike, and the people no longer cared about anything else, each running for their lives.
In the chaos, Mo Wangchen furrowed his brow tightly, his cultivation bursting to its limits as he prepared to soar into the air, fleeing from this place.
But suddenly, he felt soone grasp his hand.
Turning his head, he saw only a pair of bright watery eyes staring at him, “Big brother…”
The one holding Mo Wangchen’s hand was none other than the little girl around seven or eight years old whom he had t not long ago.
