"Greetings, Senior ng."
Mo Wangchen cupped his hands in respect, never expecting that the current Pavilion Master of Ru Yun was actually a young woman who seed to be only around thirty.
However, he understood that in the Cultivation World, appearances are very deceiving.
Especially for soone like ng Tianyi, whose strength has reached the Saint Master Level. Though she appeared to be young, she was, in fact, an ancient existence, alive for at least ten thousand years.
"Truly deserving of being the Divine King’s Son, with the Ji Family bloodline, your brilliance is unmatched."
From the front of the hall, ng Tianyi spoke, her voice akin to Immortal Sound resonated in Mo Wangchen’s mind, lingering for a long ti, stirring the heart.
"Senior ng, you flatter ..."
Mo Wangchen cupped his hands again, unflinchingly looking at her, "I wonder what purpose senior has in summoning here?"
"Young man, why ask when you already know?"
ng Tianyi smiled, her gaze assessing Mo Wangchen from top to bottom, "Your Divine King Body has already transcended, immune to all thods. You must have cultivated with the Ji Family’s legacy, the Heavenly Subduing Technique, correct?"
"And you should have already noticed that the Heavenly Subduing Technique is, in fact, only a part of the Haotian Scripture."
"Correct."
Mo Wangchen nodded, "To be honest with you, senior, the fragnt held by Ru Yun Pavilion greatly interests ."
"Since Yurou and you have cultivated a bond, this scroll, Ru Yun Pavilion will naturally offer you with both hands. But the condition, I believe you are already aware." ng Tianyi stated.
The Haotian Scripture can only be cultivated by the Divine King Body. It holds little use in the hands of Ru Yun Pavilion. If they can use it to draw in Mo Wangchen, it would indeed be a beneficial endeavor for Ru Yun Pavilion.
"The Life Forbidden Zone is fraught with peril, and entering it is a near-certain death. Throughout ancient tis, no one has been able to fully explore it. Even with the Divine King Body, I dare not rashly enter. How can Senior ng assert that the other Holy Seal Fragnts are indeed within those forbidden zones?" Mo Wangchen frowned.
"I have my reasons, which you do not need to question. Besides, the matter between you and Yurou is settled. I will shortly present you with the Haotian Scripture fragnt. After you leave, do not forget to search for the fragnts for Ru Yun Pavilion."
"Aren’t you afraid that after giving the Haotian Scripture, I might act inconsistently, refusing to enter the forbidden zones to search for the Holy Seal Fragnts for you if I were a cowardly person?" Mo Wangchen was curious, not understanding why she placed such trust in him.
"Before you arrived, I had already ordered an investigation into you. Though I cannot be absolutely certain, I trust your character. Moreover, I might as well tell you, the complete Haotian Scripture is inscribed upon the Jade Emperor’s Holy Seal. If you desire it, you will naturally seek it out without needing to say a word."
"The complete Haotian Scripture is on the Jade Emperor’s Holy Seal?" Mo Wangchen was astonished.
At this mont, ng Tianyi suddenly beca stern, her gaze sharp as she spoke to Mo Wangchen, "Mo Wangchen, Yurou is my disciple, raised by since childhood. I treat her as my daughter. Now that she is committed to you, should you let her down, Ru Yun Pavilion will not spare you, no matter the ends of heaven and earth."
"I too am innocent, aren’t I..."
Mo Wangchen was slightly bewildered. Though she said devoted, he felt as though he had been ensnared, also being one of the victims.
Feeling sowhat troubled, accustod to being solitary, he found himself entangled in this matter, a situation Mo Wangchen found challenging to adapt to.
He left the hall, stepping outside. Not far away, ng Yurou stood there.
She appeared to have cried her heart out, with traces of tears still on her face. Yet, she presented herself before Mo Wangchen with forced composure, making one feel a pang of sympathy.
"This is the Haotian Scripture you wanted..."
A scroll drifted over, landing in Mo Wangchen’s hand. Then she turned as if to leave.
Mo Wangchen was montarily stunned, looking at her exquisite figure, suddenly wanting to speak, "ng... Miss... I..."
"Now that you have the Haotian Scripture, you may depart, young lord. Just rember the task for Ru Yun Pavilion in searching for the Holy Seal. As for Yurou... if you are unwilling, I will not force you. I will explain clearly to my master..."
Her voice grew smaller, her body seed to tremble, as if on the verge of tears, feeling wronged to the extre.
Mo Wangchen felt a pang in his heart; after all, she was the greatest victim here...
"Rest assured, since such a thing has occurred, I will be responsible for you. It’s just that I’m tied with many affairs, and in these tis filled with constant strife, though I possess the Divine King Body, I cannot guarantee reaching the end..."
As he spoke, Mo Wangchen walked towards her, raising a hand to hold her delicate hand.
He could feel ng Yurou’s palm tremble, as if she wanted to pull away, but ultimately, she did not.
She lowered her head, her face becoming even more flushed, radiant like a young girl untouched by the world, blooming with love.
"If one day, at Lin Dao Peak, I swear to give you a grand wedding!"
The two faced east, as the Bright Sun rose, reflecting upon Nanyang City, presenting an extraordinarily beautiful scene.
"Yurou... is willing to wait until you return. By then, may you stand tall, a peerless hero. If... you perish, I shall enter that forbidden zone, to be buried with you!"
ng Yurou’s voice trembled slightly, her face filled with an indescribable shyness. She bowed her head, nearly tucking it into her chest. Mo Wangchen could feel her palm break into a cold sweat.
Evidently, a re phrase took enormous courage from her to say.
Under the sunrise, their shadows stretched long, as if ti stood still. Both Mo Wangchen and ng Yurou seed imrsed in this mont, unable to extricate themselves.
On this day, they pledged an oath, a mory that would remain unforgettable for both Mo Wangchen and ng Yurou for a lifeti.
...
Three days later, Mo Wangchen descended from Ru Yun Immortal Pavilion, this palace forever etched in his heart.
Walking down the Holy Bridge, at the peak, ng Yurou stood, not accompanying him. She watched Mo Wangchen depart, her face tinged with reluctance as she gazed at his receding silhouette.
Ultimately, Mo Wangchen reached the ground, the Holy Bridge disappearing. He turned to glance back, seeing a matchless beauty standing against the light, akin to a Divine Girl of the Nine Heavens. Mo Wangchen was captivated; perhaps this lifeti, his heart would never hold another woman.
He journeyed onward, eventually rging into the bustling city, disappearing from ng Yurou’s sight.
"Brother Mo!"
On the street, Mo Wangchen walked leisurely. Suddenly, a cheerful voice called out from the front.
He looked up and found it was the Luoyue Saint, Mu Xi.
This person had left a good impression on Mo Wangchen. Previously, without knowing his identity, Mu Xi had stood up for him resolutely, which further enhanced Mo Wangchen’s opinion of him.
"Brother Mu." He responded with a smile, courteously.
"Congratulations, congratulations, Brother Mo has garnered Fairy ng’s favor, spending several days within the Immortal Pavilion." Mu Xi laughed, his words accompanied by a gleam of envy in his eyes.
