Lu Cang pressed, "How much is ’a little over’?"

"How would I know? That’s just what he said at the ti," Chi Cheng replied.

The answer left Lu Cang feeling conflicted.

’So was I faster than Iz at learning Root Magic, or slower?’

Suddenly, Chi Cheng hoisted Lu Cang onto his shoulders.

This new posture... made Lu Cang feel very strange.
