Su Xin ignored the chaotic crowd and headed straight for the CEO's office.

Deng Zhongquan happened to hear the commotion outside and stepped out of his office.

He initially wore a dissatisfied expression and wanted to ask what was going on, but the mont he saw Su Xin, he understood why everyone was panicking.

Even in his heart, he instinctively felt a little afraid.

But he swiftly approached:

"Mr. Su, what brings you here?"

"Do you know about the attack on ?"

"What? Mr. Su was actually attacked?"

Deng Zhongquan looked bewildered and shocked, but he heard that Su Xin was definitely suspecting him, so he hurriedly explained:

"Since I returned from seeing Mr. Su, I've been staying at the company, busy handling company affairs and fulfilling the conditions Mr. Su promised, and haven't been following outside news. I hadn't heard about Mr. Su being attacked."

Observing him for a while, Su Xin didn't see any abnormality in his expression, so he said:

"Let's be direct, I suspect you, so you'd better find a way to prove your innocence and uncover who is really behind this, or else I'll treat all of you as the masterminds, whether it's Yonghui Financial Group or Celestial Kingdom or Nirvana Association—I won't let any of you go."

"If there's no clear outco within two or three days, I'll take action."

"During this ti, you can conduct your investigation, or prepare to face my retaliation attack, or you can arrange for soone to attempt to kill —it's up to you how you choose."

Deng Zhongquan's smile beca increasingly stiff, but he understood that no matter how unreasonable Su Xin was, he couldn't possibly refute him openly, or else he'd end up being killed by Su Xin on the spot.

He solemnly promised:

"I'll definitely do my best to investigate!"

"By the way, how are the preparations for the money and the short knife?"

"I've already arranged for soone to handle the money, it should be ready soon. As for the short knife, I've contacted a friend and arranged for a subordinate to pick it up, who is currently on the way."

"Hurry up, I don't have anywhere else to go for the ti being, so I'll just wait here."

"I'll arrange an office for Mr. Su to sit for a while, and find a better hotel where Mr. Su can rest at any ti."

Deng Zhongquan waved his hand and called over a secretary who was quietly watching from a distance.

"Prepare an office for Mr. Su and take good care of him, no matter what Mr. Su requests, fulfill it unconditionally, understand?"

"Yes, President Deng."

The beautiful secretary in black stockings replied and then led Su Xin to a spacious office of at least several dozen square ters, offering him a pot of hot tea.

Standing in front of the desk, she maintained a professional smile and asked, neither humble nor arrogant, "Mr. Su, is there anything else you need?"

"No... wait, there is one thing I need help with."

"Please, Mr. Su."

The secretary's smile beca even more radiant, as she slightly bowed, revealing the fine curves beneath her professional attire.

"Find so people in need of donations, the more the better, and make a list for ."

"Ah?"

The secretary didn't imdiately comprehend.

Su Xin reiterated: "Find so patients with severe illnesses or others in financial difficulties needing assistance, preferably those who've only raised a small amount of funds with significant gaps remaining. Compile a list and provide donation accounts—the more people, the better."

Although the secretary didn't understand what Su Xin intended to do with this, she promptly replied, "Understood, Mr. Su, I'll arrange it imdiately."

After the secretary left, Su Xin reclined in the soft, comfortable executive chair, furrowing his brow, pondering the attack incident further.

Honestly, he didn't enjoy these brainstorming matters, but having been attacked, he couldn't really retaliate blindly.

Not because he feared hurting innocents, but mainly to avoid being exploited.

For instance, certain forces dissatisfied with the Celestial Kingdom might have orchestrated this attack to provoke him into a conflict with the Celestial Kingdom, reaping the benefits.

If he truly retaliated rashly against the Celestial Kingdom, the mastermind's sche would succeed.

Or a certain force could fra the Nirvana Association.

Anything is possible.

The crucial issue is—

After this incident, if he acts rashly, many forces will likely think of using similar thods to exploit him.

For example, if he returns to Wanghai Country and a force dissatisfied with the officialdom attacks him, infuriating him, and using him as a sharp blade to wreak havoc and destruction throughout Wanghai Country.

The sa applies to going anywhere else in the future.

From now on, he'll never have peace.

This attack incident also made Su Xin realize that his abilities are indeed formidable, perhaps making forces worldwide hesitant to openly oppose him, but precisely for that reason, he's standing at the forefront globally.

Being invincible doesn't an the whole world will obey him, at most they'll display compliance on the surface.

Fearing to confront him directly doesn't an they won't utilize him; quite the contrary, many forces will view him as the sharpest knife.

By framing others, they can have him eliminate anyone they wish to kill.

Various sches and intrigues will continuously erge.

However...

If he can't uncover the mastermind and resents being used as a pawn, easily letting the attack incident pass will make the world see him as a fool and coward.

Recklessly killing is simply being exploited.

Not killing is being cowardly.

Even with invincible abilities, sotis one feels helpless facing sches and conspiracies.

"I didn't expect that even with so many abilities, I couldn't truly do as I please; instead, I'm being watched by countless forces worldwide."

Su Xin sneered.

He truly felt a bit troubled.

But more importantly, he felt that if this incident sets a bad precedent, it might bring many troubles to his future life.

As for just this incident, it was actually manageable since the targets he suspected were only the Celestial Kingdom's governnt, Yonghui Financial Group, and the Nirvana Association.

In his view, being able to cause such a thing in the universally acknowledged strongest, law-and-order country—the Celestial Kingdom—would be impossible for ordinary forces.

He had direct suspects, and the number of suspects was only three. Even if he couldn't ultimately discover the mastermind, he could directly give each of the three parties a hundred lashes, which would be considered retaliation towards them and also a deterrent to other powers.

The real problem he saw was—

If he returns to Wanghai Country in the future, or goes to so smaller countries with chaotic law enforcent, and encounters a similar attack, it would be truly difficult to handle.

If he couldn't find the mastermind and lacked explicit suspect targets, he surely couldn't randomly kill indiscriminately, could he?

Ti flew by as Su Xin was lost in thought, until a knock on the door brought him back to reality. He called out:

"Co in."

A graceful lady secretary entered with a folder, gently closing the door behind her, and stood confidently before the desk.

"Mr. Su, this is what President Deng asked to deliver to you, regarding the condition he agreed upon previously."

Su Xin took the folder, opened it, and removed the envelope inside.

The envelope contained a bank card and a wax-sealed note, which, when opened, revealed the bank card's password.

The lady secretary continued to ask, "Mr. Su, regarding the list you ntioned earlier, I've had soone consolidate so information. Do you need it now?"

Su Xin nodded, "Hand it to , and have them continue looking for more; the more, the better."

"Alright."

The lady secretary turned and left.

Su Xin took his phone, downloaded the banking software, logged in, and checked the balance, the string of zeros dazzled his eyes.

In two lifetis, the highest balance he had seen in an account was the over ten million inherited from his parents.

And now, there's ten billion.

"Previously, the karma points gained from donations were roughly 25 karma points for every twenty thousand donated, roughly just over 20 points without strict selection criteria."

"Now that there's more money, there's no need to spread the donation amount thinly. The average yield might decrease a bit, but the overall efficiency should be higher."

"Twenty thousand per donation should yield around a dozen karma points; calculating as fifteen, donating ten billion would be..."

"750,000 karma points."

Su Xin was stunned by this amount.

"And, this ten billion is just the first batch; Deng Zhongquan promised a total amount of one hundred billion, which if calculated, could increase tenfold in the future!"

"So that's 7.5 million karma points?"

Even though Su Xin viewed money as dirt, he couldn't help but breathe heavily at this thought.

But soon, he realized things might not be that simple.

"Previously, donating two hundred thousand per person was considered because this amount yielded the most cost-effective karma points. If the donation per target was two hundred thousand, the karma point yield couldn't directly increase tenfold, could it? Wouldn't that an one hundred fifty points?"

"Saving one life directly only costs about one hundred points or so; so even cost only scores of points. The donation yield couldn't be more than this."

"So if each target received a full donation of tens of thousands as per their request, at most one could get dozens of karma points."

"Equivalent to one thousand worth of donation might yield only one or two karma points."

"Ten billion, just more than ten thousand karma points."

"This makes the donation cost-effectiveness way too low."

Su Xin dismissed the earlier idea of donating fully to each recipient request.

"But..."

"If still donating twenty thousand per target, the cost-effectiveness is much higher, but it might be hard to find that many recipients."

"Ten billion, calculated at twenty thousand per person, could aid fifty thousand people. One hundred billion could help five hundred thousand people. Just the donation operation would take quite a while, let alone finding so many targets."

While Su Xin was in a dilemma.

The lady secretary entered again, handed Su Xin a USB drive, and then left.

Su Xin plugged the USB into the computer, read the files within, scanned it casually, and then frowned.

"Why are there so few people?"

"Why do the donation amounts demand so much?"

Su Xin called the lady secretary back, puzzled, "Didn't I ask you to find more? Why are there only dozens in the list?"

"My apologies."

The lady secretary quickly apologized and explained:

"Because the Celestial Kingdom's dical welfare is very good, coupled with the fact that most citizens are quite rich, so it's rare that people need donations due to serious illnesses or other circumstances. What we've found in the Celestial Kingdom is already quite a lot; I also had people look for suitable targets in other countries just now."
