The powerful kinetic impact, coupled with the ultra-high temperature of the lava fireballs, and the injuries caused by Ding Liu’s body being scorched when he embraced the giant fireball, instantly rendered him incapable of battle, his tall fra crashing heavily to the ground.

The flas continued to burn on his body.

Especially when he embraced the giant fireball, small lava flas clung to the front of his body, burning through Ding Liu’s clothes and stubbornly trying to penetrate into his body, just like lava on ice, refusing to relent until burn-through is achieved.

This kind of injury left Ding Liu, who seed strong enough to withstand many bullet attacks, completely incapable of fighting back and deprived him of any chance to stand up again.

At that mont, Bing Jiu made his move, seizing the opportunity to quickly rush into the building.

Volcano witnessed this scene from the rooftop.

He turned to check the battle situation on the fleet’s side, where Fang Keyi’s forces, having secured both the opening initiative and advantageous terrain, along with superior weapons, had thoroughly suppressed the opposite side, killing many of them. It looked like it wouldn’t be long before they could completely annihilate the enemy.

It seems there’s nothing I need to worry about there.

Volcano retrieved his gaze and swiftly ran toward the stairway from the dilapidated rooftop.

His superpower required the invocation of rocks or earth to form lava; hence, during the attack, he had lted a large section of concrete on the rooftop, creating nurous holes.

However, under his intentional control, the holes are positioned relatively on the edge, and since the area isn’t too large, it hasn’t led to a collapse of the rooftop and temporarily does not interfere with his movent.

Inside the stairwell.

Bing Jiu seed to shroud in a whirlwind; his clothes fluttered under the sustained gust, and surrounding dust and debris flew all over.

His figure darted rapidly up the stairwell, ascending layer by layer.

Occasionally, when panicked residents dashed out of their rooms, inadvertently blocking the pathway in the stairwell, Bing Jiu would rcilessly swing his hand.

A sharp gust ford an invisible blade along his palm’s edge, easily beheading passersby.

Blood sprayed and stread within the stairwell.

Terrorized screams echoed across the floors.

So people hid in their hos in fear, others attempted to flee this building, and for a while, the screams and cries inside this apartnt complex were endless.

Soon, Bing Jiu reached the sixth floor.

Due to the ultra-fast sprinting, as he rounded a corner in the stairway, he didn’t slow down at all; his feet pressed against the wall, his body lunging almost horizontally past the last turn, eting Volcano standing at the stairway entrance.

"Fool!"

Volcano chuckled coldly.

He raised his hands.

The wall before him and each step of the stairs began rapidly lting into large patches of lava, apart from small streams slowly dripping down; the rest of the lava, under his control, quickly ford a mighty wave of seething fire.

Like a sea wave ford of lava.

"Die!"

With Volcano’s angry roar, the gigantic wave of lava surged overwhelming toward Bing Jiu, nearly occupying the entire stairway space.

Although Bing Jiu, like Ding Liu and Ding Qi, is a defective product, his intelligence isn’t precisely low. He can discern whether the threat before him is fatal and quickly judge whether he needs to risk his life to charge forward or choose to retreat temporarily, seeking another opportunity.

Clearly.

The lava in front of him isn’t sothing he can withstand, nor is there space around to avoid it.

So, he had no choice but to retreat for now.

Bing Jiu stomped heavily against the wall, leaving several visible cracks on the concrete wall, halting his sprint midway, and quickly retreating surrounded by the whirlwind.

The lava wave chased madly in front of him.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!"

The terrifying heat ignited every flammable object along its path and began softening much of the concrete, with a tendency to turn into lava.

The air started swirling crazily in the deadly heat, stirring up the rushing hot air, making Bing Jiu’s control over the surrounding air increasingly challenging.

With one strike, Bing Jiu fell into dire straits.

The rooftop break.

Volcano took several light breaths, watching Bing Jiu’s desperate escape, and coldly sneered:

"Hmph! Such a fool, and you also want..."

Mid-thought, he suddenly sensed the ground beneath him loosening, alarming him imdiately.

"Damn!"

He imdiately turned and ran backward.

The ground he was standing on had already collapsed, with cracks spreading around it.

Due to repeatedly invoking the rooftop concrete layer and converting large quantities of concrete at the stairway into lava, including two supporting columns, the rooftop finally showed signs of not being able to withstand it, showing indications of collapse.

This high-up attack granted Volcano a superior geographic advantage but also sowhat restricted his ability, while bringing him considerable danger.

Though he is a superpower user, he’s not substantially stronger than ordinary people, so if the floor completely collapsed, he would also face trouble.

Luckily, the rebar inside the walls isn’t that easy to lt, keeping the house from completely collapsing.

His eyes quickly scanned the surroundings.

Volcano promptly found a safe spot.

But he didn’t stay put; instead, he lted the concrete underfoot, allowing it to slowly flow downward while forming a small platform shape, carrying his body down to the sixth floor of a resident’s unit.

Volcano’s ability is not just converting rocky materials into lava; he can also manipulate them to a certain degree.

He can relatively easily lift several hundred pounds of giant lava fireballs because his manipulation over the lava assists him in lifting, making it seem lighter by tens of tis in his hands than its actual weight.

Simultaneously, he can transport himself or descend slowly by manipulating the lava’s shape and flow.

This is why he dares to recklessly destroy rooftops and stairways.

Otherwise, if he just destroyed them himself, he wouldn’t be able to descend, equating to seeking his own demise.

A superpower user is not a deity.

But rely soone with special abilities.

Looking at the lava-filled room beneath him, along with the lted door in the distance and the sound of surging lava outside the door, Volcano calmly walked over the lava to another wall, placing a hand on its surface.

The wall rapidly lted.

A massive collection of lava ford a platform under his feet, carrying his body as it slowly flowed along the exterior wall, much like a rudintary lava elevator.

...

anwhile.

Below, the battle drew to a close.

The n from the fleet side were nearly dead; only sporadic resistance remained.

Inside the central silver transport vehicle, three n gazed at the outside scenario through semi-transparent bulletproof windows, their hearts sinking into despair.

One of them, full of panic, said:

"We’re going to die; we’re all going to die."

"The enemy’s firepower is overwhelmingly strong!"

At that mont, he seed to recall sothing, turning his gaze toward a piece of equipnt resembling an ice coffin, firmly secured taking up most of the vehicle’s space, vehently suggesting:

"How about... we set him free?"
