The food and drinks are served.

Su Xin opened a few bottles of beer and started gulping them down with grilled skewers. Soon, with a drunken haze in his eyes, he shouted loudly:

"Waiter, check please!"

"Hello, sir, one hundred and sixty."

"How much?"

"Sir, one hundred and sixty."

"Only this much?"

Su Xin muttered, pulled out his wallet from his pocket, pretended to be drunkenly fumbling, and after a long ti finally extracted two hundred-yuan bills from the interlayer, accidentally dropping a wad of cash to the ground.

This wad of money wasn’t a lot, probably just around twenty or thirty bills, but this spread of hundred-yuan notes on the ground quickly drew the attention of quite a few people around.

"Hmm? How did they all spill?"

Su Xin, with blurry eyes, stood up from his seat and staggered a couple of steps before slowly squatting down, clumsily picking up the bills one by one from the ground.

Seeing his clumsy movents, the waiter squatted down quickly to help pick them up, collected them all with ease, and handed them over to Su Xin.

"Sir, your money, please keep it safe."

"Ah, thank you, thank you!"

Su Xin bead brightly and handed him three bills: "Here, your money."

"Sir, only one hundred and sixty is needed."

"The extra is for you, I’m leaving."

Su Xin stuffed the remaining money carelessly into his wallet and staggered out of the food stall.

Drunk, carrying two to three thousand cash, yet appearing alone in the mishmash of the night market - this is like delivering a big fat sheep to the door. If no one targets him, he’d suspect he had traveled back to a previous life.

And indeed, he wasn’t disappointed this ti.

He had barely left the food stall when two groups of people suddenly stood up from two tables not far away.

The two groups subconsciously exchanged a look.

A young man from one group whispered sothing, and then they all sat back down one after another.

The other group’s five people left the food stall and started to follow in Su Xin’s direction.

Su Xin walked unsteadily for a while, leaned against a streetlight pole pretending to rest, and noticed the five people not far away making no attempt to hide.

"How co there are only five people!"

"I purposely took out more money today; hasn’t anyone else targeted ?"

Su Xin was helpless and dissatisfied inside.

He thought that having two to three thousand cash could tempt quite a few punks, as the average inco level in Wanghai Country isn’t high, and those low-level thugs without official jobs don’t have a stable source of inco. Two or three thousand would be quite a sum to them.

From his estimation, openly showing two to three thousand in cash should attract more than just one group. Then, he planned to launch indiscriminate mad taunts to provoke everyone.

Once the conflict started, his anger would trigger.

The task might just be completed directly.

But with only five people, he’d have to repeat similar actions tonight or tomorrow.

aning he would get another beating.

Though he could recover quickly.

But... ouch!

"This task is really damn frustrating!"

Su Xin put away his phone, pretending to be drunkenly waiting for the group to approach.

"Hey! Kid..."

"Get lost! You bunch of punks!"

Su Xin impatiently shouted a curse.

"Wow? Quite arrogant!"

The leader, a young man with a stud earring, looked at Su Xin with a playful gaze and asked:

"Kid, where do you belong?"

"Why do you care where I belong?"

"Ignorant mutt, guys, beat him up!"

The stud earring guy’s face sank, called out, and the five of them sward in, surrounding Su Xin.

Su Xin grabbed a short wooden stick under the streetlight, left there by soone, no longer bothering to pretend to be drunk, and charged at the others with it.

"Bang!"

The stick was blocked by the opponent’s arm.

The other four took the opportunity to punch and kick.

Su Xin swung another stick backward at another person’s arm, then simply discarded the stick, and turned around, grabbing one of them, falling together under the assault of the others.

"Damn it, let go of !"

"Little punk!"

Two of them forcefully pulled at Su Xin’s arm, trying to rescue their companion, while the other two wildly kicked at Su Xin.

But Su Xin stubbornly held onto the person, smashing two consecutive headbutts into the opponent’s face, only stopping when another grabbed his hair.

"Here it cos! It’s this feeling!"

Under the intense pain, Su Xin clearly felt a surge of strong anger rising within him, hurriedly setting the task target on the group.

Turning his head, he spat a blood-mixed saliva into an opponent’s face and simultaneously twisted his right hand, forcibly breaking free from another’s pull, while fiercely scratching a face, leaving three noticeable long bloody scratches.

"Ding! [Empathy] Progress 1."

"Ding! [Empathy] Progress 1."

"Still not enough!"

Su Xin grinned, baring his bloodstained red teeth and shouted:

"Trash!"

He then forcibly turned around, letting the person behind tear a tuft of hair out, swinging a fierce right hook at the opponent.

For soone who’s fearless of death and pain, fighting offers a great inherent advantage; no need to worry about defense or dodging, fear of pain, or concern about lingering scars.

No psychological pressure.

Just fight boldly!

Even though he faced five and was at a disadvantage, his whole body was in severe pain, Su Xin didn’t let them gain the upper hand.

"Ding! [Empathy] Progress 1."

"Aren’t two of them angry yet?"

As he landed the punch, Su Xin heard the third system prompt.

But imdiately, he was kicked to the ground again by another, and the others quickly sward over, furiously kicking.

Their initial intent was just to teach him a lesson since their goal was money, not personal vendetta, no need to go all out; yet unexpectedly, in their carelessness, several got injured by this young man.

Now, none could hold back their temper, stomping heavily as if wanting to use Su Xin as a punching bag.

At that mont—

"Stop!!"

A shriek sounded from behind them.

Two people instinctively turned to look back.

There stood a slender girl wearing an apron and mask, with a high ponytail, clutching a fruit knife tightly, approximately five or six ters away, glaring coldly at them.

With such a build and attire, her age seed young, and evidently lacking combat ability; despite wielding a fruit knife, the gang didn’t consider her a threat, and the stud earring guy impatiently shouted:

"Get lost!"

"A little girl trying to play hero, don’t interfere with us fighting!"
