"Isn’t it just those two old fools asking for it?"
Chu XiaoYue vented all her resentnt: "Since I was five, I’ve had to do all sorts of chores. In the dead of winter, I had to take the family’s clothes to the river to wash, my hands freezing till they’re swollen, and all they cared about was whether the clothes were clean."
"If the clothes weren’t clean or if I was a bit slow, they’d just bla for being sloppy. Either they scolded or they beat ."
"When I wasn’t even as tall as the stove, I had to cook. The good food never ended up in my bowl. If I ate a bit more, they’d scold as if I were starved to death."
"Have you ever experienced that?"
"Has Chu Qianyan ever experienced that?"
"Chu Qianyan has talent and the advice of the Immortal Master, so they wouldn’t dare to be harsh with her. And you? You’re nothing like either, yet you still receive their love, just because you’re a little plumper than ?"
Chu XiaoYue was convinced that Chu Pingyu wouldn’t harm her. Truthfully, with him here to confront her, he indeed gave her a way out.
She wanted to take advantage of this mont to vent her anger thoroughly.
"These two old fools give you everything good, but treat like an animal. I’m really fed up."
"Why should I suffer more than you guys since childhood, and even now?"
"If you’d treated a bit better, could I have brought myself to kill you?" Chu XiaoYue said blatantly.
"Ungrateful daughter," Chu Chengxi cursed, "What a waste to have raised you."
"If I had known, I should have drowned you in the pond, rather than raising you," Yang Fengxiang added.
They seed to forget that there was another—Chu Pingyu—who turned a blind eye to them being killed by Chu XiaoYue.
Despite their discomfort, they still couldn’t disgrace Chu Pingyu.
After all, he was their son, their only hope.
After this incident, everyone pretended not to know. Pingyu was still a good child, perhaps influenced by Chu XiaoYue.
Yes, that’s what it was.
Clearly, it was the ungrateful daughter who influenced their obedient Pingyu.
"Second Sister, I truly cannot forgive your actions."
Suddenly, Chu Pingyu leapt toward Chu XiaoYue, putting all his strength into a palm strike: "You refuse to and your ways and even killed our parents. It’s intolerable. Our parents gave birth to and raised ; I must do sothing. Even if I’m burdened with infamy today, I will kill you."
Chu XiaoYue was montarily stunned. She wanted to escape, wanted to shout, but she was oppressed by the aura of Chu Pingyu, unable to do any of it.
Chu Pingyu was at the Late Stage of Divine Separation, while she was barely at the Foundation Establishnt Stage.
Under such an oppressive aura, she couldn’t even move or speak; all her body’s orifices bled, leaving streaks of blood across her body.
Chu XiaoYue struggled to move her lips, wanting to say Chu Pingyu had a cruel heart.
She had been too naive, thinking she had leverage over Chu Pingyu, not realizing he had long harbored the thought of eliminating her.
Among the three siblings, Chu Pingyu was indeed the most ruthless.
She deeply regretted not just exposing Chu Pingyu, too.
She hadn’t expected Chu Qianyan to stop him; perhaps she would be more than happy for her to die, given how many tis she had tried to fra her.
Suddenly, Chu XiaoYue felt a bit of regret. If she’d sucked up to Chu Qianyan instead of Chu Pingyu, would things be different?
After all, Chu Qianyan had never really done anything against her, whereas she had taken advantage of those two old fools.
Toward Chu Qianyan, it was nothing but jealousy, a jealousy that drove her mad, losing control and wanting to crush the other underfoot.
Now, on the brink of death, she regretted it.
Her true enemies weren’t Chu Qianyan but those two old fools and Chu Pingyu.
