Arriving at the Zhang Family, many people were there.
Qiann Yan noticed the crowd whispering about sothing and listened closely.
It turned out that after she left, the sheep that were quietly grazing started running everywhere.
No one was filming at Zhang Juying’s side. She could barely manage alone. Despite her swift hands and feet, two of the sheep slipped through and ate so crops. Luckily, they ate from her own field; otherwise, it would have been another dispute.
Qiann Yan glanced at Zhang Juying, who was sitting there resting, drenched in sweat. "Aunt Zhang, the director said next you would teach how to cook."
Zhang Juying was sowhat displeased with Qiann Yan, thinking that the sheep’s misbehavior was all Qiann Yan’s fault. If she hadn’t just left like that, would these issues have happened?
Qiann Yan pretended not to notice Zhang Juying’s dissatisfaction, waiting for a response.
Since Zhang Juying was working for money, she couldn’t defy Lv Cheng’s arranged schedule.
"Let’s go, follow to the kitchen."
Qiann Yan: "Aunt Zhang, what are we cooking today?"
"The director just told you’ll be handling everything related to cooking. What dish to make will be up to you as well. Whatever vegetables are at ho or in the field, you should choose." Zhang Juying had heard from Lv Cheng that Qiann Yan wouldn’t know how to cook.
For so reason, the more she looked at Feng Qianyan, the more she disliked her.
Since the director arranged things this way, she wouldn’t have to do much, just give so verbal instructions.
Since Lannlann went to the Feng family, all the cooking and feeding the pigs had fallen on Zhang Juying, practically tiring her out.
And now she’s faced with a delicate young lady who doesn’t know how to do anything; she wasn’t happy at all.
Her Lannlann was so sensible, could handle everything, unlike this wealthy young lady who wouldn’t even move when sitting there.
Qiann Yan sensed Zhang Juying’s complex and resentful gaze but continued to ignore it.
She thought over Zhang Juying’s words: "So Aunt Zhang ans I make all the decisions myself and pick the ingredients myself?"
"Yes, that’s what the director said." Zhang Juying put on a smile, "If you don’t understand sothing, you can ask , but you’ll be the one to do it. The director said I shouldn’t help at all so you can experience it firsthand."
"Really, I get to choose on my own?" Qiann Yan asked again.
After receiving Zhang Juying’s confirmation, Qiann Yan looked around in the kitchen, finding so vegetables that seed to have lost their moisture.
"Aunt Zhang, I want to go to your family’s field."
"Okay, I’ll take you."
"Aunt Zhang, does your family have a corn field?"
Zhang Juying: "Yes, the corn is just ready to eat now."
Qiann Yan decided to get so corn back, but Zhang Juying didn’t react much — she wanted to see what Qiann Yan could do.
Arriving at the corn field, Zhang Juying purposely didn’t say how to pick the corn.
Unexpectedly, Qiann Yan grabbed a knife and skillfully chopped off the ears of corn and husked them with ease.
Qiann Yan then went to the field to find so vegetables and brought so back. She searched around the kitchen and finally found so dried seaweed.
This kind of thing is usually available at ho. Since the supplentary ingredients are ready, now she needed to find the main ingredient.
Qiann Yan walked out of the kitchen, with others following her, curious about what she was up to.
Unexpectedly, she headed straight to Zhang Juying’s chicken coop. Zhang Juying thought the situation might not be good and hurriedly chased after her: "Yanzi, do you want eggs?"
Qiann Yan turned back and noticed Zhang Juying’s anxious expression: "No."
"Then..."
"Picking a chicken to kill."
Zhang Juying felt dizzy but still said: "Yanzi, since it’s your first ti doing this, you might ss it up. Perhaps choose sothing else."
Just then, Zhou YuaanYuaan shouted: "Mom, I want chicken."
Zhang Juying: "..."
