Now reading: Chapter 277: Correcting the Unfortunate Life of a Girl (Part from All Worlds Beg the Villainess to Act Like a Human, a Sci-fi novel by Du Lele.

"In this life, I must have co to this world to atone for my sins. My father died when I was seven, and my biological mother thought I’d cursed him to death. From then on, it was either beatings or insults for , with endless chores every day and incessant scolding."

"Grandmother never liked , only her beloved grandson. She was extrely harsh with ."

"At eight, she remarried, taking along. I went from serving just her to serving two people."

"At twelve, my stepfather’s gaze beca increasingly inappropriate, and instead of stopping him, she insulted , calling a little brat."

"At fifteen, I encountered the darkest ti of my life, suffering constant abuse from that beast. My biological mother even pretended not to see."

"I was ostracized by classmates and looked down upon by teachers; everyone thought I was a sewer rat that shouldn’t be alive."

"But my life was as resilient as a cockroach, stubbornly surviving."

"It seems the heavens lack fairness, as my life endlessly repeats tragedy."

Qiann Yan couldn’t help but frown upon hearing this—not because she doubted, but because she wondered what mistake the other person could have made to endure such an unlucky life.

The spirit speaking before her was so weak it seed at any mont it might dissolve. Qiann Yan reached out and patted the shoulder: "Speak slowly, there’s no rush."

"Thank you." The girl’s spirit grew clearer, no longer with the feeling of imminent dissolution. She looked at Qiann Yan with a face full of despair, "Actually, I don’t know how I ended up here. I’ve said so much, but I don’t know what to do."

"Take your ti to ponder." Qiann Yan responded coolly, leaning against her giant sword by the well, waiting.

She observed the frail spirit beside her: "If you can’t think of anything, you should reincarnate."

"No, I don’t want to reincarnate."

The girl quickly retorted, her face filled with terror, "The mortal world is too frightening, I don’t want to stay."

Qiann Yan did not continue the conversation, reaching out to grab System 666 beside her: "Co here, I have a question. Wasn’t she over forty when she died? Why does her spirit look like a little girl?"

She rembered that the spirits here usually appeared as they did at the ti of death.

System 666 was equally puzzled: "Logically, it shouldn’t be like this. I just checked; she wasn’t lying. However, her spirit has suffered imnse damage, likely due to her experiences, making mory loss possible."

"Oh, I don’t believe a person can be unlucky to this extent. Things should eventually reverse in fortune. I think there’s another reason for all this."

System 666 agreed: "I think so too. Since other situations likely exist, Host should still be cautious."

Knowing that the Host wouldn’t encounter anything serious, it cost nothing to offer a little flattery.

"Have you decided?" Qiann Yan noticed the girl looking at her and asked.

The girl looked less than twenty, but her whole spirit was filled with Death Qi. If she had given up on life, Qiann Yan had no doubt she would imdiately dissolve.

"Actually, I feel a bit unwilling. Why should I endure those things?" The girl showed resentnt, "I want to change my fate, send all those scums to jail, let them face punishnt," She cautiously looked at Qiann Yan, "Is that possible?"

"It’s possible."

...

Qiann Yan woke up in a room with a pink aesthetic, quickly turning over.

She searched through her mory, but couldn’t find a scene like this.

"This part of the mory is lost."

Qiann Yan was not persistent, carefully observing her surroundings: "The aesthetics of this room are lacking."

However, it seed different from the drafty balcony in her mory.

Qiann Yan remained silent: "The differences are vast. What mories did the original host really lose?"

She walked to the mirror, certain this was the original host at fifteen.

She exited the room, scrutinizing the whole house: "It’s undeniably that house." She checked each room, the view outside every window was consistent.

But the house’s arrangent completely mismatched her mory.

If not for the original host’s spirit seeming on the brink of dissolution, she would have thought they were here just for fun.
