To be honest, before eting Lan Yazhen, Gu Jingkui was a pretty good brother, always considering things for his only sister, very patient.

Qiann Yan found it absurd; managing such a large company, yet when Lan Yazhen cries, Gu Jingkui can just skip or cancel company etings casually, it’s quite ridiculous.
Gu Family’s empire hadn’t fallen yet, perhaps the opponents were just too weak.
Gu Jingkui always felt his sister’s expression was mocking him, but he didn’t have ti to think too much, with Lan Yazhen’s crying echoing in his mind, making him anxious.
"Just postpone the eting until tomorrow," Gu Jingkui said indifferently; no matter how big company matters are, they can’t compare to Yazhen.
Qiann Yan disagreed strongly: "Casually postponing etings; what if there’s sothing urgent? Brother, doing this will cause shareholders and employees to lose trust in you."
Gu Jingkui’s expression struggled; to him, Lan Yazhen was still the most important.
"I know I can’t stop you, but before going, communicate with your secretary and assistant, let them brief on the eting content, how about I attend the eting in your stead?"
"I’m your biological sister. If I go, they’ll see your sincerity and won’t have such strong objections to the matter," Qiann Yan added.
Gu Jingkui was stunned for a mont; he hadn’t noticed Qiann Yan’s suddenly gentle tone.
