Leo finished the days work, when he learned from Markus that coming weekend, he would be coming over with his sister. Leo said, "Don't worry, I will have a prototype ready and then we can see how it goes."
Markus thanked him before disconnecting the call, and Snow frowned, as Leo told her while she drove the vehicle, "Markus's sister had her arms chopped off by the warlord, Anton Greeves we killed the other day. She was a national level investigation officer."
Snow relaxed and asked, "Do you want her to try the advanced prosthetic that is being developed in the lab?"
Leo nodded and replied, "It would be good PR, I want people from all over the world to co and buy a prosthetic from us, but when the Apex governnt finds that we won't give it to them, and have their people fly over to us, they will be surprised, I want them to beg us to bring business for them."
Snow smirked and said, "I want to be as petty as you."

They reached the school, and when Leo was about to pick up Lily in his arms, he spotted a few n from the circle coming over to greet him. He thought that they were all acting too exaggerated and that their flattery might tell Lily that he had been behind the scenes to coerce these people into letting the children be normal around each other.
However, the first man who ca forward said, "President Cardinal, congratulations, it is an honor to have soone from the Clover Nation to enter the world of motosport. It has been a long ti since the world got to know about our skills."
Leo was surprised but he didn't show this on his face. He shook hands with the man and then thanked him for his world. Lily turned to look at the people coming over and congratulating her Baba, before she tugged on Leo's pants and the young man picked her up.
Finally, the last man stepped forward and congratulated him, when the curious cat asked, "Uncle David, what are you congratulating my Baba for?"
David Crast, was the logistic giant of the city, who smiled and said, "Little one, your Baba just signed the most prideful deal of the city. He is now the first man from the Clover nation to hold a share in a motor racing team."
Lily looked at David and asked innocently, "What is a motor racing team?"
Leo had a feeling in his gut when David said, "Motor racing teams are groups that race cars on tracks at high speed."
Lily looked at Leo and asked, "Baba, will you race a car on the track?"
Just when Leo was about to shake his head, David said, "Yes, he will be racing on the toughest track in the nation two days later, and he will be driving the car for charity."
David looked at Leo and said, "Mister Cardinal, I hope that you get to the podium and be safe while driving. I will co to watch with my family."
Leo gulped as Lily said, "Uncle, what do you an by my Baba reaching the podium? He will be the Speed King!"

Lily waved her little hand to David as Leo took her in the car. The entire city knew that he held stakes in the motor racing departnt, how? Because the staff of Wagoner company got to know, and it leaked to the various people and thus the ss.
The young man took a deep breath as they got inside the car, and Snow asked, "What happened?"

Snow opened her eyes and turned to look around as she asked, "What is going on?"
Lily narrated what she heard and then Snow also slouched in her seat similar to Leo. She took a few deep breaths to calm down as she said, "Lily do you know what it takes to be a speed king?"
Lily nodded and said, "It ans, getting to the first position."
Snow shook her head and replied, "One needs to go fast, double than what our normal car can go, and they need to take turns at that speed. It is very dangerous to participate, do you still want Baba to be speed king?"
Lily chuckled and said, "Ma, my Baba got up from the point where no one thought he could. He is strong enough to fight with Uncle Kyle and Uncle Jock everyday, his fitness is on the peak as well. What makes you think that he would not be able to get through the turns in a car? Have so faith."
Snow was left speechless, looking at this topic from Lily's point of view, she realized that indeed she has been acting too protective of Leo, it is not like that he would jump into sothing completely blind.
She looked at her husband, and sighed as she said, "Fine, let us see how it goes during the trial run before making any decisions."
Lily cheered in the back as she said, "Baba, I will go ho and learn what this sports is about. Hehe, then I will cheer for you."
Leo could only smile to her, when he suddenly recalled that it has been a few days since he used the virtual realm to train himself. He smirked all of a sudden, as Snow drove them ho. After a al, Lily got busy with her 'study' and Anastasia and Fragrance joined her. Snow had a virtual eting with a client so she was in the study, Leo was left alone with the chubby kitten Momo.
He smiled and placed the kitten on his chest as he fell asleep and said, "Momo, watch over , okay?"
Momo let out a calm ow and the young man smiled as he lay back and initiated the virtual realm. His task? Drive an 1F category car on the track. He first used the most easiest tracks to get used to the 1F car. After getting the hang of it, Leo cald down a lot more and his gears shifted like a clicker waiting for the right ti.
After fifty laps, Leo goes to the Montek City Track. One hour, and in his mind, Leo had developed a lot of skills to handle the world's fastest race car. Wagoner Company had so faults in their vehicles, but the ti was too short for Leo to achieve any significant results by improving them.
He fell asleep by the ti Snow ca to the room. Leo was exhausted after learning so many things. The young man woke up the next day, and took Lily out with him. They were heading to the Montek City, to et with the team and inspect the track.
Snow had so business in the city so she decided to stay back and join them on the day of the race. The flight was all ready at a monts notice, and so, they flew. Lily said, "Baba, I was learning a lot of things about the motor sport yesterday night but I didn't understand one thing, why do they give limited tires to the drivers?"
Leo smiled and replied, "Because if they had unlimited tires, they would change it whenever they lost grip and this would be very wasteful and exploiting. Say one team is rich and the other is not, what would happen if I run on used bald tires and my opponent has fresh tires every lap?"
Lily humd and said, "Hmm, that makes sense. Well, another thing is, what is this with points? Why do they have to get points, can't they just make the racers who won the most races a champion?"
Leo smiled and replied softly, "This is done to make sure that the racers focus on consistency throughout the season and also to keep things competitive the entire year. If I won five races, and then their is soone who ca second ten tis, why should I win the championship and not him? After all, he was standing on the podium more tis than , right?"
The father educated the daughter, and by the ti they landed, Lily was a Racing Guru, she had absorbed the knowledge of what various terms ant and how the car was paced through the race.
At the Montek City Airport, Carlos Frederique was waiting to greet them. The young man shook hands with him and said, "Mister Carlos, if possible, I would like to visit the paddock and try a few laps on the car. After all, if I act like a rookie tomorrow, the na of the Wagoner team would go down the drain."
Carlos was surprised but then he quickly nodded and said, "It is good sir, we have everything ready, and thankfully you decided to co today so we can take feedback from you and fine tune the car."
Leo nodded and they boarded a vehicle. Carlos was surprised to see Lily sitting beside the man. Leo made the introductions and Carlos smiled as he said, "Young Miss, are you here to see Director Leo drive around?"
Lily cast a gaze to the man and nodded silently. Carlos was humbled, because he thought that the child would be naughty but to his surprise, the Young Miss was way ahead of him. It was true, Lily didn't show her happy and chummy side to the people outside her family.
Leo was used to this so he just watched everything silently. They arrived at the track, and found that it was a sealed off area, Carlos led them to the paddocks and their arrival gathered a lot of attention.
Leo and Lily didn't care they calmly approached the paddock, and saw the car Leo was supposed to drive up close. Everyone was silent in the paddock and Lily humd as she said, "Oh, this is from the last year, Wagoner x17. At least this thing can turn compared to what you have this year."
The technicians were shocked to hear this from her, but then so older ones were enraged, and they wanted to reprimand her, when they sensed a cold gaze lingering on their faces, and they froze. Carlos had told them how Leo had taken down the Prestige News channel, they all feared him and were about to trigger a disaster for them.
Leo may have yet to be the speed king, but he was a certified Demon Daddy.
