Leo was in his office, minding his own work and things when his phone rang. He looked at the screen and found that it was from Stellar Primal. He picked up the call and asked, "Hello, Miss Stellar, what can I do for you?"
On the other side, the lady replied, "Mister Cardinal, do you have ti to catch a al with today?"
Leo replied, "Well, I cannot have a lunch with you, but if you want, we can have so coffee at my office."
Stellar thought for a bit and replied, "Fine, I will co over, is it okay if I bring along company?"
Leo nodded and said, "Yeah, but can you tell who it is?"
The lady chuckled and replied, "It's soone who can help you a lot in the destruction of the Primal family."
Leo raised his brow and said, "Fine, bring the person over."
Although he didn't have many details, he wouldn't mind eting soone who could give him an edge against the Primal family. Bishop Primal was running a tight ship and to achieve the level of power and influence he had in the world was because he didn't even mind ruining his own family for this.
Leo understood that such a man was very dangerous, although he had attained a temporary peace agreent but a snake could bite you even after death. He shook his head and put all these thoughts on the side before he went to inspect the servers where data regarding many projects was stored.
After a couple of hours, the door of the office was knocked and then Leo found June standing outside. He asked, "What is it June?"
The young lady ca inside and said, "Sir, Miss Stellar Primal has co along with official Artem. The latter is an official in the Ministry of Finance."
Leo raised his brow and said, "June, get three cups of best coffee that we have in the office and call the people over."
The lady nodded and said, "I will do it right away, Sir."
Leo smiled and thanked her as she retreated to communicate with the reception. Leo told Snow about this, and she declined the eting as she had to go out and inspect the situation at one of the companies she had acquired in the past and guide them to get so more profit.
Leo sighed and said, "Please be very careful outside. Don't climb stairs and don't over exert yourself. Please, Lily will have my skin for that."
Snow chuckled and replied, "You are only caring for because you are scared of Lily. Sha on you, Leo Cardinal."
Leo hastily replied, "No, no, I am not doing this because I am scared of Lily. I am only doing this because I want you to safer."
Snow replied, "I will be fine, don't worry."
The young man sighed and wanted to say more when the guests arrived at the doorstep. He wished Snow one last ti and disconnected the call before he beckoned the two people to co inside.
Stellar entered the office with Artem behind her and they sat down on the couch after shaking hands and Leo said, "When Stellar told it would be soone to give leverage in the actions against the Primal Family, I didn't expect her to bring over the fallen star."
Artem smiled faintly before he said, "Seems like you have done your howork well, Mister Cardinal."
Leo shrugged and replied, "Well, you know very well that one cannot face Bishop Primal and his son without facing doing a howork. These two are epic grade monsters that doesn't hesitate in consuming even their own."
Artem smiled bitterly and replied, "I must have committed a grave sin in the past life to have been born in their family."
Stellar didn't say anything but just listened to the two n discussing various things that were done wrong by the two old n of the Primal Family. After Stellar finished her coffee, she looked at Leo and asked, "So, what can we do to give them a real trouble?"
Leo thought for a minute and replied, "We can have Socrates face the mirror."
The two people raised their brows and asked, "What do you an?"
Leo smiled and said, "His love for Matilda is scary, and that can be used to exploit him. Recently I heard that the finance departnt is launching a probe to identity financial gaps that may cause harm to the national economy.
Lugers have a notorious reputation for that matter, and recently the shake down in the swastika nation has caused them keep a low profile, even here. If you found grounds to look into Luger Group, what do you think will happen to Socrates?"
Artem was surprised and then he remarked, "You are correct, Matilda Luger is Socrates weakness. Attacking her is even more effective than attacking him directly. To save her, he can even throw himself under a bus."
Leo nodded and replied, "Yes, tell what is your designation in the ministry of finance."
Artem replied, "I am a deputy in the vigilance departnt particularly focusing on tax cris and such."
Leo humd for a minute before he said, "Your direct superior should be soone from the Saig Family, right?"
Artem nodded and Leo continued, "How about I diate and you two take the lead on scrutinizing the foreign traders?"
Artem raised his brow and asked, "Why such a wide topic?"
Stellar smiled and replied, "To not escalate the situation as an issue of discrimination and also gain support from the local businessn to gain information under the cover of safeguarding their interest."
Artem looked at the two people and said, "No wonder you are such a pain in the ass of the primal group and the Lugers, however, this would make you an even bigger target."
Leo smiled and replied, "No need to worry, I have thought all these things through and would be handling them as they co."
…
The eting was short and after the brief discussion they left the office. Leo sighed as he thought about the various things that he needed to do. At the mont, the Cardinal Group and the Butterfly group was growing at a crazy speed. They were launching products every few weeks, but the only point that the other people were unable to catch up was the after sale service network that the company had built.
Suddenly, Leo read a piece of news on his computer and then he picked up he intercom and called Rama Kashyap. The man ca over in a few minutes, and asked, "What can I do, Sir?"
Leo showed the man the article and asked, "Did you read about this drone delivery project?"
Rama Kashyap nodded and said, "Yes, we have ran so tests but we are facing so programing issues."
Leo asked, "What do you an?"
Rama Kashyap replied, "The most primitive issue here is the recognition of houses. The drones work fine in villa areas but as soon as they move toward the apartnts, the floor set up sses the counting system. Every apartnt has a different addressing system, coding the drones to move through all the apartnts would need complicated coding and a lot of debugging. It would be a ss to maintain this system in the long run."
Leo nodded and then after a pause he said, "How about we use sothing like a special card for each house. As the custors to volunteer and help us create the delivery system. That way we will get so beta testing done as well."
Rama thought about it and said, "Yes, indeed, this would be a good move. We can use sothing like a 'find my device' protocol for this and the cost of manufacture would be minimal as well. Thank you, Sir."
Rama felt like working for Leo was the best decision he made in his life. How Leo could co up with ways to tackle things and make it look easy. After Rama discussed the issue, he left the place, and then the young man stood up to leave the office, and pick up Lily from the school.
However, before that, he didn't forget to walk over to Snow and check what she was doing, and also if she was fine. Snow confird that she was okay and only then did Leo leave her alone.
…
As he reached the school, he found Lily waiting for him with Miss Verse, and when the girl saw him, she smiled. Leo walked up to her, thanked the teacher before he asked, "What caused you to smile so wide?"
Lily chuckled and replied, "Today, Miss Verse conducted a test. I did the best. I know how to multiply and divide now."
Leo raised his brow and cheered, "Yay! Since my baby has grown so smart, how about we celebrate this?"
Lily asked, "How?"
Leo replied, "How about we go to eat the ice cream?"
Lily nodded and just when they sat down in the car, the system pinged, 'Ping: Host, a death threat is incoming, please dissolve it before it reaches your family.'
