After the convoy reached back ho, Leo got to his duties to tend to the twins. As for Lily, she was busy with her operation to bring the corrupt souls to justice. It may seem a bit exaggerated, but that's what happen when a five years old child held the power to handle things her way.
Lily was sitting in the study, yes, since she was told to work, she decided that she would use the proper office room to work. Beta was her attendant and after having lunch, she asked, "Beta, how many people have been arrested by now?"
The robot replied, "Fifteen, Young Miss. However, none of them have confessed of working together. The cops are trying to find out the common links between these people, but nothing as such has turned up."
Lily nodded and after so thoughts she said, "The cops are probably looking at the links these people had with each other in the recent years, right?"
Beta nodded and Lily confird her thoughts before she said, "Well, if they are going to look into the lives of these people, then do it properly. I want everything, from where they were born and what they shat in the morning. Every single major detail that could be the life changing incident."
The robot nodded and replied, "I will contact Alpha and have him give so access to the Lunar Eye program."
Lily nodded and said, "Do what you need to do, but do it quickly and make it efficient. Ti waits for no one, and at the mont soone really shady is about to get away, and I don't want that to happen."
The robot nodded and then she began to communicate with Alpha who gave out all the details to Beta in a few minutes, and then the robot narrowed down the common links between the people. Beta was very quick and efficient, and she said, "Young Miss, you were correct, these people all have a common link, they were raised in the sa foster ho, all of them within five years gap. The mastermind behind all this could be the man who ran that foster ho, no?"
Lily shrugged and said, "Can you pull the profile of that man for ?"
Beta nodded and after a quick minute, the details of the man who ran the foster ho appeared on the monitor before Lily. The little girl read the data calmly, "Hmmm, so this man has been to jail for a multiple count of fraudulent activities, attempting robbery and lastly assaulting a police officer. He might not have committed a big cri but this man is hard nut to crack and I am sure that he is still doing sothing shady."
Beta asked, "Young Miss, from the data, he appears to be a volunteer at the animal shelter in the Dalu Town in Ether City. Why do you think that he might be doing sothing bad?"
Lily smiled and replied, "Ma once told , the rose flower has a cold nature, but its behavior would change based on how you use it. If you dry it up and then spread the crushed leaves on a cake, it would beco a garnish. If you pluck the petals and chew on them directly, they will beco a mouth freshener.
Even if the behavior of the flower changes, it would have no effect on the nature. Humans are just like that; they have their own nature and that is sothing they cannot change. Have soone from Uncle Simon's firm in the vicinity of that town keep an eye on the man. As soon as there is any signs of the man absconding, I want him tied down and confined."
Beta nodded, and then Lily continued to read from the file before she paused for a minute and said, "Have soone keep an eye on this lady as well. The wife of the Foster Ho owner."
The robot was taken aback, and asked, "Why is that Young Miss? The couple broke up a long ti ago, and they don't have any connection anymore, so why are we keeping an eye on the lady?"
Lily replied, "She is a drug addict, and even though she had been through the rehab several tis, one way or the another she finds herself crawling back to that ssy thing. She is not a saint as well, and junkies have a habit, they try to manipulate everyone they can to get what they want."
The robot nodded, this explanation matched what was listed in many of the papers published by the famous psychologists of the current tis and even more than that, many people have provided accounts that such was the case. Beta then moved and began to look into the life history of the lady.
After a few minutes, she said, "Young Miss, the lady is clean, she has been living in the Eastern Canyon City, Crescent Gorge and she have been in a rehab there for the past two years, she is clean now. Does the voluntary work and have never contacted the people involved in any form at all."
Lily raised her brow and asked, "What caused this?"
Beta replied, "Two years ago, she overdosed and the impact caused her to suffer several crashes in the hospital. When she woke up, her system was flushed with the detox dicines developed by the locals and then sent to the rehab where she was asked to help the youngsters and spread awareness of how it felt to almost die. They even showed her the footage from the resuscitation process. That could count as reverse psychology and then so people even brought her drugs and forcefully tried to give it to her while she was still in hospital. This thod worked. It was all part of a staged experintal therapy thod."
Lily smiled and said, "Whoever ca up with this idea, sure is a genius. Find who they are, and if they have a good credibility, have them work in co-op with the Cardinal Foundation. Get a proposal on this and then submit it to the Foundation so that the managent can get it going."
Beta nodded and the background process began and suddenly after a few minutes of silence, Beta said, "Young Miss, that man, is on the move. He is carrying just a small backpack with him, almost the size of a gaming laptop bag and he just called soone to get him a ticket for the neighbouring country, Malanga."
Lily frowned and said, "From what I rember, we don't need any Visa or special permit to visit Malanga, right?"
Beta nodded and continued, "Yes, but we cannot arrest people from their without the contribution of the local police, which is very corrupt."
Lily nodded and said, "Inform our people, have them detain the man and nicely ask him what is going on, dig deep."
Beta nodded and she sent out the ssage through Simon. The man personally handled things after Leo had given him the instruction to help Lily. The young miss of the family had no idea that her 'anie' baba handled things from the shadows.

Snow was sitting in the living room, and she watched Leo as he held Elena, and made her stand up in his lap and the two made faces at each other. She asked, "Don't you think that we are letting Lily shoulder a burden that is beyond her age?"
Leo shook his head and replied, "Snow, you are thinking a bit too much. There is nothing beyond her age. There are people in the world who don't even have a proper al and they are younger than Lily, do you think the burden of survival is light? We are just letting her co in contact with the dark side of the world from a distance. Sooner or later, she would need to face it and if she were to face such a thing when she had grown up the darkness of the world would have swallowed her, just like it almost swallowed ."
Snow instantly realized what Leo ant and she sighed. Indeed, it had been so, while she had grown in a noble family where she had faced the ugliness of a human, and seen how the world worked closely, and the reason she fell in love with Leo was because he was very innocent, although he disliked the people for being stupid and acting in bad faith, he was still very innocent.
Thinking about it, she nodded and said, "Yes, I understand what you an. Fine then, let her handle it, but I am sure that you are still doing things to make it easier for her in the back."
Leo smiled but then he turned his attention back to Elena and continued to play with her. At the side, Julian made a few sounds, and Leo said, "Yes, yes, I will play with you as well."
Julian pouted and waited for a few more minutes, before he started making angry growls. Finally, Leo picked him up and played with her. After a few minutes, Snow said, "Your precious daughter has gone ahead to call a detention on the man, Juan Horus. To find out if he is involved in this matter."
Leo raised his brow and then he smiled widely before he said, "I love it when she does things like ."
Snow frowned and said, "Oye, you would have killed the man to extract the truth. Don't make it sound like she would go so far in this situation."
Leo sighed and said, "Love, she is my daughter, but she is not ."
Snow humd and replied, "Can you tell if you know what this guy is really involved in this thing?"
Leo shrugged and replied, "I have no idea, how can I tell you without any investigation. Simon has the chain of command now; he will find out everything. Then we will know what is going on."
Snow sighed. She was worried because her daughter was working with sothing that could turn out to be really ugly. However, she had no option because she was the one who had asked Leo so days ago if they should start training Lily?
Now she could bla only herself, Leo was acting like he was tough about this situation, like he didn't care about Lily, but she knew that this an person was keeping a watch on every single movent made by Lily, even the questions she was asking Beta were all under his scrutiny. She almost wanted to grab his collar and demand answers but she knew he would take a smug expression and say, "You only wanted her to be strong."

Lily had no idea about what was going on in the living room, she was dedicatedly watching the interrogation. She frowned about the slaps and the punches given to Juan by the n but then she cald down, because Juan was not giving any answers. However, when the man took out a gun and placed it on the table, Juan almost fainted and then he peed his pants before he began to answer things and Lily smiled.
She let out a breath and said, "Beta, have uncle Simon record it all and then send it to the cops, this man must be arrested and that money should be recovered to reinject in the foundation."
Beta replied, "Right away, Young miss."
