Almighty Father System Chapter 494: Karting Race

The next few days of the week were calm and no big noise was made, apart from the developnt of the new technology, the Cryo Sleep Chambers that Leo had received as a reward. The young man received a call from the Director of the Space Exploration project. He had recovered well and was now living inside the compound only.

Leo asked, "Good morning to you, Director, is everything alright?"

The old man replied with a jittery voice, "Sir, it seems that the rovers and the advanced probes that we have sent found so clues. The primary investigation tells that the debris is that of a spaceship, and contains so samples, but we have not been able to determine what it exactly is. So I was wondering if we could use the probes to act like a guiding engine and have the teor land on the dark side of the moon. This way, we would be able to research it in more depth."

Leo thought and said, "It is all fine as long as you don’t endanger too much in the na of research, I am responsible for the lives of all the people there."

The old man nodded hurriedly and said, "Sir, rest assured we will not handle things haphazardly."

Leo nodded and replied, "That would be for the best, if you need we can create a secondary base on the dark side of the moon by the ti the teor is guided over, however, the problem would be the absence of the solar energy. So, we would even take so things into consideration but it can be done with remote power supply."

The old man nodded and replied, "Yes, sir. I will have the research and developnt people look into it, they have turned into blood hounds crazy to do more with engineering concepts ever since the Lunar Base was constructed properly."

Leo smiled and nodded in understanding, after a small report of the debriefing, the call was disconnected, the old director had called all his family mbers and told them to migrate to the Clover Nation because their lives could be in danger, and the people also didn’t say much, they all valued their lives, and the Clover Nation was on a boom like never before. The military might of the country had also risen to the point where the Eagle Nation, the so called hegemony of the world feared them.

Leo was thinking about sothing when Lily ca inside the room and asked, "Baba, I have a race, can you take to the track?"

Leo was surprised and asked, "Huh? How did you get in the race?"

Lily replied, "Ma signed the consent form, it is just karting so she said it was fine."

Leo sighed and said, "Okay, do we have the practice sessions and qualifiers today only?"

Lily nodded, and replied, "The final race is in the evening. However, we have to use the Karts provided by the organizers and cannot bring our own so it is important to get the practice ti in."

The young man nodded with this logic, he understood that if the driver was to drive a vehicle they were not familiar with, they would need to give in practice. He got up and Lily said, "Jules and Elle will co along right?"

Leo nodded and replied, "Yes, let strap them up."

That said, he went to the room where the twins were playing with Anastasia, and he said, "Ma, you have been busy with them for a long ti, I will be taking them out. You catch so sleep."

The old lady nodded and replied, "Yes, I was about to co and find you about this."

Leo smiled and found the sling and wrapped the kids inside it carefully. After that he didn’t take long, and got in the car with Lily, the young miss had a small track map in her hand and Leo shook his head before he said, "Have you ever run on this track?"

Lily was surprised and shook her head before Leo said, "Then stop worrying so much, put this map away, it will not give you any idea on how to get an optimal ti in a lap there. When we reach the place, go run around the track once, and feel the incline and decline. Also, notice if the track has cracks, you have been practicing under Andy for long enough now to understand how it all works and effects the lap, right?"

Lily nodded and replied, "Chase every second and fight for every gap."

Leo nodded and Jules looking at the two people asked, ’Baba, is Big sis going to race?’

The twins have learned a few things about the family and they knew that Lily was a racer now because in the past few days, they have watched her train and tell them stories of how things were in practice. Leo nodded and said, "Yes, she is going to race in Kart. Do you guys like it?"

Elle nodded but said, "I like to watch big sister go vroom, but I am scared of doing it myself."

Leo smiled at her words as he knew that his youngest was probably the craziest among the three siblings. The people kept talking while they arrived at a dium range karting track in the capital. There were several tracks in the capital but not all of them were used to hold events like this, so were simply there for practice of the rookies, and so were longer tracks that were used to race bigger karts and cars.

When they reached the venue, Leo found a lot of people in the place, they were all busy with their own stuff, the participants would need to walk in the paddocks and at the entrance, they found a young lady sitting behind a counter, and when Lily approached her, the lady asked, "Hello, are you a participant?"

Lily nodded and presented a letter of approval which had both her parents nas signed up. The lady checked the signature and then looked at Leo before she gulped and gave Lily a token as she said, "This is your kart token, you can collect it in the paddock bay. All the best."

Lily thanked the person with a smile and then they walked past the lady and arrived inside the paddock bay. Leo found two dozen vehicles parked there, they all looked sa just the number on the center was different. Lily had gotten car number 15. She spotted an old man who was checking the tokens and then handing over the keys. When he saw Lily, he handed her the key and said, "These are the new models from the company and have been tested, but since you are going to drive them, be a little careful."

Lily thanked the man with a smile on her face, and replied, "How long do we have before the practice begins?"

The old man said, "Thirty minutes."

Lily nodded and then looked at Leo who said, "Go on."

Lily dashed out, she was wearing sport shoes so it was easy for her to run around, and she was quick about it. She went to the track, and then jogged on it, none of the people complained, as they had no idea what this child was doing, but after two quick laps, Lily ca back with a layer of sweat on her forehead and then approached Leo, who also finished teaching the twins about the kart, and at the sa ti, he finished the inspection, and found nothing wrong with the vehicle.

He saw Lily and said, "Go, dress up, we will be waiting for you to nail the first prize."

Lily nodded, went to the side room, changed into her driving suit and put on a helt as well. The people were surprised when they saw the suit, soone from the side looked at Leo’s face and sucked in a deep breath as he said, "Fucking, Leo Cardinal?"

Leo turned to look over and the man cheered, "Holy hell, the world champion is walking among us plebeians."

Leo was stunned by the way this person addressed, but then he smiled and waved at the little boy standing next to the man. The little boy waved back and said, "I will try my best to catch up to you, Sir."

Leo nodded to encourage the guy and Lily pouted, she held Leo’s face and made him look towards her. She was gazing right in his eyes and said, "Baba, I will win this race, all category, I will beat them all."

Leo understood that his little vinegar jar has turned over, and he smiled as he pecked her nose gently as he said, "I never doubted my champion. The world doesn’t know but we do, goblins are known for their speed and agility."

Lily chuckled and then said, "Yes, just you wait, I will bring that trophy back."

After saying that, she went into the kart and ignited the engine to slowly roll out of the paddocks and Leo stood on the side watching the children move out with Elena and Julian cheering while creating spit bubbles.
