"Brother Xian... I... I..."
Zhou Fengliu always looked up to Fan Xian as a role model. He was more than happy to be Fan Xian's right-hand man and enforcer.
But this ti, he was genuinely scared. Really scared out of his wits...
Seeing Fan Xian's furious expression, he was terrified and unsure of what to do in this dilemma.
If he followed Fan Xian, they would continue to provoke Qin Fang. If they managed to deal with Qin Fang, they would both be happy, and he'd have avenged himself too.
But if they couldn't handle Qin Fang, they would surely face his revenge, which would undoubtedly end tragically, similar to their ordeal last night...
Qin Fang might even strike harder this ti... If they're not careful, they might truly lose their lives!
After last night's incident, they had investigated Qin Fang's identity. He was Qu Yuancheng's cousin, considered half a Qu Family mber, but he had significant backing on the Mainland.
While they were mixed up in Hong Kong Island, they didn't know much about the Mainland, but they knew there were many powerful forces not to be ssed with there...
Even though they had two mighty families backing them, it was just a matter of money. Compared to those from political dynasties, they were at a disadvantage...
"Hmph, look at you, such a coward..."
Seeing Zhou Fengliu looking so terrified, Fan Xian's expression was unpredictable, but he only spat out an angry remark.
Despite being more severely injured from last night's ordeal, Zhou Fengliu had suffered more in personal humiliation.
A once-playboy suddenly seed like he'd been taken advantage of by dozens of n. Anyone would find it unbearable...
"Don't worry! When have I ever done anything unplanned? I've got arrangents for this—just wait for good news..."
Finding coercion ineffective, Fan Xian resorted to a softer approach to settle the matter and drag Zhou Fengliu into it while deciding to deal with future issues later.
"Brother Xian..."
Zhou Fengliu was still concerned after hearing Fan Xian's words, and he opened his mouth to say sothing, but Fan Xian dismissed him with a wave.
"I've got soone handling this. It won't involve the two of us... We're patients and just need to lie here and recover... What happens outside has nothing to do with us, right?"
Fan Xian, devious as ever, easily dispelled Zhou Fengliu's worries with just a few words.
The two of them still weak, decided to lie in bed and recover, choosing to skip the activities of other young masters outside.
...
All was calm outside; despite the farce last night, it was just a topic for gossip.
"Qin Fang, we're planning to go fishing today. Do you two have any plans?"
It was a beautiful day, and early in the morning, Kong Er ca over to invite Qin Fang. He, Qu Yuancheng, and so girls were going deep-sea fishing, intending to catch a shark.
"You guys have fun; we're heading out to sea ourselves..."
Qin Fang and Tang Feifei had made plans last night to go fishing or swimming, but not with Kong Er and his group.
Though groups could be lively, sotis it was inconvenient, especially for young couples wanting an intimate mont.
Moreover, Tang Feifei had prepared a very sexy swimsuit just for Qin Fang's eyes, and Qin Fang, though generous in other matters, was quite possessive of this, so... they planned a private outing.
The resort offered small speedboats, so even without riding on Kong Er's luxury yacht, they could still head out to sea.
"That's fine, we won't disturb you lovebirds..."
All of them understood and had no intention of being third wheels. With Qin Fang there, safety wasn't an issue, so they set off freely.
Qin Fang and Tang Feifei left the resort too; apart from Kong Er and the others, they weren't familiar with anyone else, so there wasn't much point staying. They took the resort's speedboat and ventured into the ocean.
Qin Fang and his group did not head in the sa direction as Kong Er's; while they talked about catching sharks, Qin Fang didn't take it seriously, knowing they hardly had the skill for it.
"Qin Fang, I've heard there are sharks in that direction. Maybe we shouldn't go there?"
Tang Feifei held a sea map she got from the resort, pondering the directions while voicing her concern.
According to the map, the direction Qin Fang and the others were heading in could potentially encounter sharks if they went too far.
At least, so records suggested that area of the sea had sightings of sharks before...
"Feifei, don't worry... Not to ntion, it's almost impossible for sharks to be in waters this close! Even if there are sharks, with around, I'd definitely catch them and make shark fin soup for you..."
Qin Fang expressed with indifference.
Even though Nanshan Island is in a relatively remote sea area, Hong Kong Island is already quite close to the Mainland, and even further out, it's still considered nearshore waters.
Given the fishing skills of Dragon Country's fishern, fish in nearshore waters aren't many, and sea predators like sharks wouldn't willingly approach, taking the risk of being caught by people...
That's exactly why Qin Fang wasn't particularly concerned.
Of course, even if they did encounter sharks, Qin Fang wasn't afraid in the least, as those sharks would practically be coming to court death...
"Alright then, I'll listen to you!"
Tang Feifei thought about it and saw the sense in his words, so she said no more. Now, she considered herself sowhat of a small expert, and though not great at swimming, she could still ensure her safety onboard.
…
Yet as Qin Fang and the others' speedboat advanced towards deeper waters, several kiloters away there was also a ship navigating towards them in a roundabout manner.
"The target has left the nearshore region..."
A burly, slightly fierce-looking man stood on the ship's side, peering through a military binocular at the distant sea surface, then addressed another man beside him.
"That kid is really saving us the trouble, running straight into a dead-end on his own... Seems like this deal will be the most relaxed and easiest we've ever taken!"
The man beside him was wiping a dagger in his hand, a slight smile at the corner of his mouth, speaking with such calmness, as if their victory was assured even before they acted.
"Don't get too cocky too soon. This kid is no ordinary person; he's extrely skilled... Underestimating him could easily lead to our defeat!"
The man with the binoculars seed to disagree, imdiately giving a stern warning since the information in their hands indicated that their target this ti was very tricky!
"So what if he knows so martial arts? I refuse to believe he can dodge bullets?"
The man wiping his dagger remained dismissive, seemingly regarding martial arts experts as worthless in his eyes.
"Besides, we're at sea. Once we take out their boat, they're basically done for... Pity about that beautiful girl, so young, having to join this kid in a watery grave!"
Yet, seeing a glint of hesitation flash in the binocular man's eyes, his expression sowhat softened, his tone altered significantly, adding with a sigh.
"Du Ping, if you talk so much nonsense again, I'll take you out myself... prevent you from causing our team's failure due to underestimation!"
The man's tone suddenly beca extrely sharp, appearing on the verge of losing his temper.
"Yes, yes, yes! Brother Xiong, you're the boss; I'll listen to you..."
The man nad Du Ping imdiately grinned servilely, lowering his head but still displaying a faint disregard in his barely visible eyes.
"Ah, you brat..."
Brother Xiong could only shake his head helplessly, then directed the boat to chase rapidly in the planned direction.
…
Qin Fang and Tang Feifei naturally had no clue they'd been targeted from the mont they left Nanshan Island. Judging by these people's intent, they didn't plan to let Qin Fang and the others return alive to Nanshan Island.
However, Qin Fang and Tang Feifei were imrsed in their two-person world, the speedboat still cruising toward deeper waters. Qin Fang didn't seem at all concerned about running out of fuel. The two wandered amidst the azure sea, observing the blending of ocean and sky, feeling the slightly salty sea breeze, an indescribably romantic and pleasant experience...
If they replaced their speedboat with the Titanic, Tang Feifei might even insist on enacting that iconic pose with Qin Fang.
Even so, Tang Feifei nestled in Qin Fang's embrace, feeling the warmth, tenderness, and comfort... In this perfect setting, in their private world, two young and restless people inevitably feel a bit impulsive.
A mischievous hand rested on the tender prominence, while the young couple's lips clung tightly, passionately exchanging their essences... (To be continued.
