"Wait a second... I think I rember sothing!"
With that thought, Qin Fang vaguely recalled so events that seed to have happened so days before. He couldn't quite rember clearly and didn't try to reflect on it any further.
"It depends on what kind of business Brother Sun wants to get into..."
Sun Shu's question was too broad. Certainly, Qin Fang had made so friends, most of whom were rather influential people, but it was difficult to say which specific area they were involved in, as many would do anything that was profitable.
"Younger Brother Qin, I've set up a construction company. The qualifications are undoubtedly impeccable, but there's not much work at hand. I wonder if you could introduce so opportunities to ?"
Even though Sun Shu didn't hold out much hope for Qin Fang's help, he ntioned it anyway since Qin Fang had asked. After all, Qin Fang was Tang Feifei's fiancé, and a word from her might just do the trick…
"Construction, huh... Let ask around, hold on a sec!"
Muttering to himself, Qin Fang pondered for a mont, then took out his phone and dialed Qiao Zhenfei's number.
"Third Brother, it's , Qin Fang!"
The call was quickly connected, and Qiao Zhenfei's voice ca through, accompanied by the sound of relaxing music, leading Qin Fang to guess that Qiao was probably at Lan Yue's bar.
"Oh, it's you, kid. We haven't been in touch for just a few days, what's up? Got sothing on your mind?"
Qiao Zhenfei spoke in a carefree manner, and the sound of Lan Yue's voice could be faintly heard talking in the background.
"It's nothing major, just checking on how that thing I gave you last ti is coming along. That factory should have started its preparations by now..."
Qin Fang imdiately responded, his tone cheerful.
"Isn't that stating the obvious? Of course, such a great product should be produced as soon as possible to start generating benefits. The land has been approved, all the paperwork is complete, and I'm arranging things on my end. The construction team can enter the site at any ti..."
Qiao Zhenfei replied nonchalantly.
They were talking about the third set of lithium battery technology that Qin Fang had provided. He gave it to Qiao Zhenfei to manage, without investing a single penny and getting a 30% share of the company with the technology.
Qin only held a 30% stake, which might seem like a loss, but in reality, it wasn't the case at all. This technology had been approved directly through the military. Due to the technology's advanced nature, it was imdiately listed as a military cooperative project. With the military providing personnel and effort, they naturally held a certain share as well.
The remaining shares were distributed by Qiao Zhenfei, who invited so individuals with significant background and status to join. This involved various intertwined interests, which were very complicated. Even Qin Fang didn't dare get involved lightly.
"I see... Well, I've got a matter to discuss with you. A friend of mine has a construction company with all the proper qualifications. I was thinking of giving them so work to do on the inside..."
Qin Fang casually brought this up, considering the project was a massive investnt. Just the first phase of construction was worth over fifty billion, with more phases planned thereafter—second, third, fourth…
If everything went smoothly and the trial runs were successful, this enterprise would beco a significant energy company in Dragon Country, and the investnt in later construction would be astronomical.
Now, during just the first phase, it wasn't feasible to distribute the entire project out of goodwill, as there were too many considerations involved. Qin Fang estimated that allocating one or two billion's worth of smaller projects would already be quite impressive.
"That's not a problem at all... Alright, since the preliminary construction needs to start, if their capabilities are sufficient, I'll have them take over the civil engineering for the first phase!"
Without any hesitation, Qiao Zhenfei agreed right away and offered to let them handle all of the civil engineering.
When the project was launched, Qiao Zhenfei had been in touch with Qin Fang and had sent him a copy of all cost estimates. The factory's main components consisted of installation works, which were contracted to enterprises related to the military. The civil construction was relatively simple and didn't have particularly high technical requirents, so it didn't matter who undertook the job.
However, the civil engineering part of the first phase still amounted to an astonishing cost. Qin Fang rembered it being at least five or six billion. Considering the profit margin and expenses, earning tens of millions was definitely not a problem.
But when Qiao Zhenfei spoke up, it was as if he had just handed tens of millions directly to Qin Fang...
Qiao Zhenfei probably thought the construction company was overtly Qin Fang's enterprise, so it was not at all strange for him to offer this favor.
"Alright, I'll have him contact you later..."
Qin Fang didn't need to think too much about it. He had plenty of ways to make money. This deal might seem huge, but it was hard-earned money he just couldn't handle making.
"Brother Sun, it's settled. You should get in touch with this number later, and the entire preliminary civil engineering work for that project will be handed over to your company. The only question is whether you can handle it... If not, you can just subcontract it to other smaller companies to undertake!"
Qin Fang handed Sun Shu the number Qiao Zhenfei had dropped, the one for the site manager. With Qiao Zhenfei's background dealt with, Sun Shu naturally arranged for his people to enter the site at any ti.
"Hiss~~~"
Watching Qin Fang talk on the phone just now, he didn't seem to be joking at all, and his tone a mont ago was rather grand.
Wondering if we can handle it?
What a joke. My company is one of the top three construction companies in Yangcheng, having undertaken nurous large-scale projects and even won the Lu Ban Award once. How could there be any project too big for us to handle?
"Younger Brother Qin, why don't you give so details about the project? What's the approximate construction cost, and how much is the civil engineering work?" Sun Shu still sucked in a breath and asked very politely.
"This project is a major national construction, currently the first phase, with a construction cost of about fifty billion, and the civil engineering work is about five or six billion, I think... I don't rember clearly..."
Qin Fang spoke rather indifferently, as if the five or six billion were re fifty or sixty bucks in his mouth, utterly insignificant and scarcely worth ntioning.
"Hiss~~"
Qin Fang might not care, but Sun Shu was certainly shocked.
Construction is indeed a lucrative business, but the various expenses involved are not small, especially the public relations costs needed to secure projects in early stages.
In Yangcheng, Sun Shu could pull so strings, making it sowhat easier to acquire projects, but Yangcheng was just an ordinary second-tier city with relatively small projects and hence limited profits.
Outside of Yangcheng, Sun Shu's influence didn't hold, and acquiring a single project was quite a struggle. Although not at a loss, the profits weren't substantial.
Like his company, which took on many projects in a year—projects costing thirty to fifty million each, several of which could add up to a few billion in total construction cost.
But this total cost isn't calculated this way; the difference between the total costs for several projects versus one project is significantly larger.
With more projects, there are more managent personnel, more expenses and costs, resulting in slim profits; one project is much simpler, many expenses can be consolidated, and the final profit can be quite significant.
His company's annual projects could amount to this much in construction cost, but the profit that fell into his hands, around twenty to thirty million a year, was considered very good.
But Qin Fang, with a single project valued at five or six billion, could earn several tis the profit with proper managent, far more than what he would toil for in a year.
And Qin Fang?
He had casually handed over such a great opportunity, how could that not surprise him? How could that not shock him?
Sun Shu's mouth hung slightly open, his eyes filled with imnse shock. Despite so lingering doubts, everything seed to be in order as Qin Fang had indicated, unlikely to be fake!
Now, comparing Fang Tong with Qin Fang, Fang Tong was nothing but a fart...(To be continued. If you like this work, please visit Qidian (qidian) to cast your vote for recomndation or monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation.)
