Su Li took a sip of tea, her expression calm, not saying a word.
Sitting quietly to the side, Mo Yu suddenly glanced at Feng Huaijin and in an ethereal voice said, "Seventh Young Master Feng, please step out for a mont."
Feng Huaijin’s expression turned slightly cold; he knew these elders were likely to speak poorly of him again.
Su Li gently held the back of Feng Huaijin’s hand, and softly said, "Huai Jin, go back to your room first."
She wanted to hear what they would say after all.
Su Li was very clear that if she didn’t listen to them, these self-proclaid elders would keep pestering.
Better to resolve it in one go.
Whatever they said couldn’t change her mind.
Feng Huaijin cast a cold glance, his strong body rising from the leather sofa, his slender jade-like hands tenderly landing atop Su Li’s head as if in comfort, before turning to go upstairs.
Feng Huaijin walked into the bathroom, lightly sniffing his suit jacket, and a hint of disgust appeared on his handso face—it had picked up so scent of alcohol.
He took off the jacket, tossing it unceremoniously into the bathroom trash bin, then stepped in to take a shower.
More than half an hour later, Feng Huaijin, running a hand through his wet black hair, stepped to the mirror, thodically smoothing out his shirt so it had not a wrinkle, his damp hair combed back.
Feeling sothing was still missing, Feng Huaijin picked up a bottle of n’s cologne from the sink, one he had never used before, and sprayed a little on himself.
This was a gift from Xiao Heng, who claid it was the n’s cologne won loved most!
Once everything was in place, Feng Huaijin half-leaned against the sink, gazing thoughtfully at a small box on the counter, lost in thought.
The bathroom door creaked open a crack from outside, a small head poked in, the little face full of curiosity.
"Papa."
Feng Huaijin snapped back to reality, his tall figure blocking the view of the small boxes on the sink, expressionless as he looked at the peeking Tuanzi: "What are you doing?"
"Papa, you’re acting strange. We’re about to sleep, why are you wearing a suit and cologne? Are you going out?"
Feng Huaijin’s brow twitched slightly, responding flatly, "When are you leaving?"
Tuanzi: "..."
Tuanzi looked pitifully distressed, he didn’t want to leave!
Finally, Uncle King had found an excuse to send him over to Mama. Moreover, there was no sign of ti-space taking him back, why should he leave?
"Where’s your Mama? Why hasn’t she co up yet?"
Feng Huaijin casually shoved the boxes to the innermost part of the shelf, opened the bathroom door, and walked out.
Standing in pajamas on the second floor with Tuanzi, Feng Huaijin could only vaguely see the top of Su Li’s head, unable to hear what they were saying.
Su Li sat on the leather sofa, her long, fair legs crossed, her fingers lightly sliding on the sofa, those small movents clearly a bit restless.
Feng Huaijin hesitated over whether to go downstairs.
The butler ca up and said, "Young Master Sun, Miss Su Li asked you to wait for her, please don’t go downstairs for now. She can handle it herself."
Feng Huaijin’s brow slightly twitched; he felt like his position had completely swapped with Su Li’s.
He was just a pretty boy she kept, obediently waiting in the room for her to co favor him?
Feng Huaijin gazed at Su Li’s swan-like fair neck, his thin lips slightly curled upward, murmuring to himself, "I’ll wait for you."
