Su Li was startled by the voice. Feng Huaijin?
What’s he doing here?
He leaned against the doorfra, his white shirt sleeves casually rolled up. He looked completely at ease, watching their group with great interest.
When Ling Chenyu saw Feng Huaijin, her expression changed dramatically, shifting unpredictably.
Sev... Seventh Master Feng actually ca to the school personally for such a trivial matter involving Su Li?
Had she underestimated the relationship between Su Li and Feng Huaijin?
How co, even though she and Feng Ciye were engaged, Feng Ciye never treated her like this?
In an instant, Ling Chenyu understood.
No wonder the principal had switched sides!
This must be due to pressure from Feng Huaijin!
Ling Chenyu suddenly felt extrely wronged. She really wanted to imdiately tell Feng Ciye and have Fourth Brother avenge her.
Feng Huaijin glanced sideways, frowning as he reminded her, "Don’t cry in front of , you’ll make yourself look ugly."
Ling Chenyu: "..."
This...!!
Su Li saw Feng Huaijin appear and wondered where Xiao Heng had gone. Hadn’t she asked him to co?
Su Li quickly picked up the sleep tea from her desk and handed it to him.
"See off," Feng Huaijin said in a deep voice.
Su Li hesitated, but the principal excitedly said, "Su, hurry and see him off, go on, go on. I’ll arrange for the counselors and instructors to deal with these two students skipping military training!"
Yan Sida looked at the tall, handso man. Her expression changed subtly as she watched Su Li see him out, as if she wanted to speak but decided against it.
Feng Huaijin, holding the cup of sleep tea, walked to the stairway with his head down, his dark hair hanging smoothly.
"Hold my hand."
Su Li was so frightened she almost rolled down the stairs.
Did he... did he say what she thought he said?
Hold his hand to go down?
"Are you deaf?" Feng Huaijin raised an eyebrow, displeased. He suddenly reached out and grabbed Su Li’s soft white hand, interlocking their fingers.
A wave of embarrassnt swept through her entire body. Su Li, who had been calm in the dorm room monts ago, instantly turned beet red.
What... what’s he doing?
Feng Huaijin pulled out a pair of sunglasses, put them on, and said in a low voice, "Guide down."
Su Li looked at Feng Huaijin’s outlandish act of wearing sunglasses at night with a complex expression. What was he doing wearing sunglasses this late, playing cool?
Su Li ridiculed Feng Huaijin in her mind, wanting to shake off his hand, but he held on tightly, forcing her to lead him downstairs.
"I’m warning you, don’t suddenly let go of . If I fall, you better watch out for your life," Feng Huaijin’s chilly voice whispered into Su Li’s ear.
Su Li was puzzled. She suddenly stopped on the stairs and turned to look closely at him.
Feng Huaijin kept his head down, his profile cold, his features even more tense. Underneath the sunglasses, his eyes were firmly fixed on the ground, refusing to look up.
Su Li was baffled. What was this behavior?
"This is the girls’ dormitory..." Feng Huaijin reminded her in a deep voice.
He didn’t want to see anything he shouldn’t.
Su Li swallowed hard and asked, "Then, how did you get up here, Mr. Qi?"
Feng Huaijin replied casually, "I followed the dorm staff, feeling my way with the handrail. Got a problem with that?"
If he hadn’t been unable to reach her by phone, hadn’t seen the instructors, counselors, and principal rushing up, would he have co up?
Coincidentally, the dorm aunt wasn’t downstairs.
He ca to save her, yet she was ungrateful!
Su Li was silent for a mont and said, "No."
Su Li accompanied him downstairs, and once there, Feng Huaijin took off his sunglasses.
Su Li patted his shoulder and comforted, "I’ve delivered the sleep tea. Mr. Qi, go ho and get so sleep early. Wish you a good night’s rest."
Su Li yawned and turned to head back into the dorm building.
A gentle breeze blew, lifting the hem of her clothes. A pair of large hands reached out and gently embraced her from behind, causing her to fall into his fresh-scented embrace.
"Su Li, last ti in the cinema, you asked if I was afraid of ghosts and if you should hold ."
His arms tightened around her, his voice low and hoarse, "Mm, I am afraid of ghosts. Hold ."
