Since Tuanzi discovered he was injured and weak, capable of going to that world for a short while, he couldn’t help but entertain various thoughts.
If... if only he could go there all the ti, even if it ant being sick and in pain forever.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t find the utility knife in his room, and upon going downstairs, he realized even the fruit knife used for peeling was gone.
This left Tuanzi a bit disappointed.
Su Li felt her heart racing as she listened to Tuanzi’s words, startled, she hurriedly changed the subject.
[Tuanzi’s Favorite Mama: Did Mama say your roommate is that girl nad Yan Sida? Tuanzi helped Mama look into it; she’s an outstanding alumna from Jianghai University, described as having a harmonious family.]
The so-called outstanding alumna refers to a student who, after graduation, does well in society and is invited back to their alma mater to give speeches.
As Su Li pondered over this, she noticed a ssage popping up in the class group chat.
Yan Sida initiated a fundraising link on "XX Fundraiser," seeking donations for a severe illness, and left a ssage saying, "My mother is seriously ill, I hope fellow classmates can help . You’re not donating, consider it as borrowing from you; I will repay you later, please don’t worry."
The group fell silent.
Su Li almost burst out laughing; is this a plea for help?
Jianghai University’s finance departnt is full of wealthy second-generation students, all from well-to-do families. Yan Sida thought everyone would help her but found that after more than an hour, there were very few donations.
Everyone was playing dead!
Yan Sida’s eyes reddened instantly, murmuring, "What’s going on? Aren’t you all from good families, wealthy? Is no one willing to help at all? I said it’s just borrowing, I will repay!"
Why is nobody willing?
Are wealthy people really so heartless?
As Yan Sida was thinking, she suddenly saw soone anonymously post a ssage in the group: "I wouldn’t dare ’lend’ to you, lend to you then you go back and curse us ’rich people’ behind our backs?"
Another anonymous ssage followed: "Though I sympathize with your mother’s situation, honestly, I don’t want to donate, oh, sorry, ’lend money’ to you. Weren’t you usually disdainful of us rich folks? Think we’re not in the sa circle? Then why are you borrowing from us?"
"Exactly! Is it my fault being born into a wealthy family? My family is rich, but I’ve never done anything bad, nor have I ever offended you, have I? Yan Sida, you inexplicably get mad at , who doesn’t have a temper then?" Yet another anonymous ssage popped up mocking.
"..."
Suddenly, the entire student group exploded, everyone went crazy anonymously posting ssages, each one outright condemning Yan Sida.
If it wasn’t for the counselor stepping in to stop it, banning anonymous group chats, the QQ group would have turned into a place of denunciation.
The peers snickered, they were not idiots. Yan Sida did well academically, but mocked many wealthy students. Now, they might as well kick her while she’s down; they’re just not going to help!
Yan Sida was so furious she nearly jumped up, her face turning pale and ghastly.
Why?
Why is everyone treating her this way?
Yan Sida grasped her phone shakily, her complexion rapidly turned ghostly pale.
Not a single classmate was willing to help her...
Yan Sida never anticipated this outco, caught completely off guard.
Why are her personal relations so poor?
Yan Sida stared blankly at her phone screen, imrsed in deep thought and confusion.
Why is it that soone like Su Li, who is equally good academically and pretends to be poor, is so well-liked by so many classmates in the departnt? Not only do the boys like her, but even the girls have a good impression of Su Li...
