Tuanzi was not as calm as Feng Huaijin. Seeing Su Li not coming out, he began to feel anxious, jumped barefoot from the bed to the bathroom door, patting it with his hand: "Mommy, what’s wrong? Are you having diarrhea?"
Inside the bathroom, Su Li was holding onto the edge of the sink, giving herself a ntal pep talk, while outside, Tuanzi was urgently pacing in circles, constantly knocking on the door.
Su Li looked at her flushed reflection in the mirror, with her face captivatingly attractive, a mix of youthful and womanly allure, hard to conceal her charm. Just go out like this?
"If you don’t co out, I’ll take down the door." Feng Huaijin’s calm voice ca through the door, making Su Li’s heart race furiously, feeling both embarrassed and angry.
It’s all his fault, how dare he pressure her!
Su Li imdiately opened the door, snapping, "I’m out, why are you rushing ?"
Feng Huaijin leaned aside looking at her, water droplets fell from his hair, soaking Su Li’s collar, highlighting his grace.
Before he could see clearly, Su Li quickly avoided Feng Huaijin’s gaze and walked towards Tuanzi.
Tuanzi stood by Feng Huaijin’s bed, rushing towards Su Li, who embraced her son and pretended to fall at the bedside.
Su Li whispered to Tuanzi: "How about letting your dad sleep on the sofa later?"
Excitedly, Tuanzi’s face remained rosy, his long, curly eyelashes fluttered as he asked curiously: "Why? Why let Daddy sleep on the sofa? Daddy didn’t do anything wrong. I want to sleep with Daddy and Mommy together."
Saying this, he nestled further into Su Li’s arms, his milky cheeks pressing against her face, filled with attachnt.
Because we weren’t supposed to sleep on the sa bed!
Su Li looked at the bewildered Tuanzi, unable to explain why, so she simply didn’t answer, pulling Tuanzi under the covers, and grabbing a book from the bedside table to read, "Business Investnt Studies?"
Su Li shivered all over, was he reading this before sleep? How could he sleep? No wonder he’s into wellness.
Su Li was pondering when she saw Feng Huaijin, freshly washed, walking out, rubbing his head, emitting a faint fragrance.
Su Li buried her flushed face into Tuanzi’s neck, instinctively holding Tuanzi tightly.
Tuanzi said uncomfortably: "Mommy, I can hardly breathe."
After calling out several tis, Su Li hurriedly loosened her hold on Tuanzi, looking at Feng Huaijin resentfully, it’s all his fault! If it weren’t for him, it wouldn’t be this awkward.
Feng Huaijin lowered his gaze, and Su Li imdiately and blindly shifted her eyes, not daring to et his gaze.
Feng Huaijin gently lifted the covers, bringing in a slight chill, startling Su Li to goosebumps.
Su Li’s heart raced uncontrollably, even her limbs were at a loss for how to position, the blood within her surged like ocean waves.
Seeing Su Li clutching Tuanzi, curled up like a shrimp, Feng Huaijin coughed lightly and smoothly layed on the bed.
This was clearly his own bed...
Tuanzi lay right in the middle of the big bed, waving his hand: "Daddy, you’re about to fall off. Do you like sleeping on the edge?"
Su Li watched Feng Huaijin slowly moving his body, her cheeks once again flushed uncontrollably.
Feng Huaijin drew near, and she could clearly sll the subtle aroma emanating from him.
The string in Su Li’s mind that had been tense seed to snap in that instant, causing her to suddenly sit up, panic-stricken: "I-I’ll go sleep on the sofa."
Just as she lifted the covers, a large hand reached over and grabbed her wrist, pulling her abruptly into his embrace with great force.
